A tall, cruel-faced man stood amidst chaos and leaped across the terrain. The crowd targeted him. Red fire bursts shot across the dense green forest. The crowd cheered and screamed while they stomped in rhythm, chanting, “Kill Zerus, Kill Zerus!” The giant Nephilim wielded glowing lightsabers and aimed towards a cave, where one Nephilim raced across the rugged terrain. They taunted the man with each strike, referring to him as Emperor Zerus. A red mist swirling around the portal filled me with dismay, and a palpable sense of danger hung in the atmosphere. My body, a mere speck in the chaotic scene, blended with its environment and remained hidden. When I approached the golden Nephilim, who had a blend of human traits, including impressive height and muscular physique, and faces from Greek mythology. I noticed a range of complexions. They were the mutated bird people who mated with the ancient Nephilim and became the dominant golden Nephilim. Both men and women wore futuristic gold jumpsuits that hugged their figures, with lightsabers, boots, and otherworldly weapons. In my vision, I watched and listened to the Nephilim’s insurrection. The garbage stench and planetary heat grew fierce as scarlet and yellow fire burst forth from the red volcanic dirt. Nephilim mentioned before and after the flood in Genesis 6:4: “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went in to the daughters of humans, who bore children to them.” The Nephilim will arise during the Tribulation.
Something was in the airspace, but what caused the panic? Carmen heard supernatural sounds that caused her frightened body to stiffen. The constant sounds of the dogs barking and the waves rolling toward the shore at an unnatural height caused concern. Now, the police began to patrol the area around the shore. Something sinister was about to happen. Similarly to how the main character in my novel faces the challenge of staying composed during a crisis, our Heavenly Father also encourages us to seek His guidance in times of distress. The word says in Philippians 4:6 (NIV), "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God."

Call me when you have a chance.” She ended the call. Sophia was eager to meet with the new mayor of Romala. And reassure him of her pledge to stay two weeks or until she found a workable solution. Her headache increased with intensity. She popped two pills into her mouth, grabbed a water bottle, and exited the condo. She hailed a hovercraft, which stopped. “Let me help you with your bag, Dr. McFadden.” She glanced at the slender man inside and grinned. “Thank you, but I will keep my attaché. How do you know me?” “Doctor, they briefed us this morning.” “I see. City Hall, please.” So people are aware of her arrival. But his cheery smile unnerved her, and someone had individuals watching her movements. Without another word, he opened the door for her, dashed to the front, and pressed the console screen as the hovercraft lifted and sped off toward the town center. “Do you want me to wait for you once you finish your business?”

With all the scams and discussions of AI, should we be worried? Yes and No. Artificial Intelligence has been around for a while. Still, with the emergence of CHATgpt, we're moving towards a new direction where AI will either enhance our interaction with it or have a negative impact on our lives. I enjoy technology, and after over thirty years in the field. I look for innovative ways to make my writing more efficient and help my readers. Being a former professor/teacher, I'm concerned about our children's dependence on AI to finish assignments and gain skills that require human interaction and empathy, which AI lacks. So, be careful how you use the technology because it collects data from every user and often gives inaccurate data. Be mindful that our human brain is the AI that God has given to HIS Creation.

Brandon Dalaly, a Tesla owner, has a unique way of unlocking his car with his hand. Or rather, with the specially made chip implanted in his hand in August 2022. It was his second chip. Brandon’s chips are used for various purposes, such as access control to his car and home, storing data, or storing cryptocurrencies. The idea was to have his house key in his left hand and his car key in his right hand. He had his credit card added to his new chip. Now he can tap-to-pay terminals anywhere. A man from Michigan died from flesh-eating bacteria in Florida. I was concerned for people in the state after hurricane Ian descended upon them and prayed for everyone ravaged by the storm and their safety. When I wrote the book Mayim, I never expected a novel to broach on vibrio vulnificus infections a month after the launch of my story. I wrote the book five years ago and rewrote the novella late last year, launching my new genre and book series, Debacle. Ian brought devastation and death to the western section of Florida; folks from other states helped the victims. Emergency personnel advised that if you have an open wound, cuts, or scratches, your body can absorb the bacteria through contact with sea or brackish water. People with open wounds should avoid the water and seek medical care if they get sick. But, the message came too late for the family man in Michigan. Did you realize that Father God removed Himself for three hours from Jesus when He was on the cross? Yahweh is holy and has no sin. Almighty God was present the entire three hours while Jesus was on the cross, but He had to watch with no spiritual connection. In Psalms 5:4, “For You are not a God who delights in wickedness; no evil can dwell with You.” The fate of unrepenting sinners caused Yahweh to separate His divine spirit for a moment in time since the body of Jesus became drenched with the sins of the entire world (Hebrews 7:26). From the very first sin to the sins yet to come, Jesus carried the burden of humanity’s transgressions. “So also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. (Hebrews 9:28)” We remember that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human; the term for both is hypostatic union. In 2 Cor 5:21, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” So when Jesus cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?” (Matt 27:46). The Triune Godhead, unified in their grief, called out for humanity to understand the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for a world that rejected Him. As a reminder, the hands of Father God, Father Son, and Father Holy Spirit bear the wounds of Calvary.
A favorite parable is a leprous man. But as you know, if you want something repeated, say, “Do not tell anyone,” and trust me, it will be everywhere in minutes. I suspect my premise is that the gospel of Jesus Christ spread rapidly because the former leprous man went to the priest. I am sure he saw many people who recognized him as healed and not “unclean,” and his gratification became jubilant. (Mark 1:40-45) Another favorite parable in Matt 8: 5-10 tells of the centurion with a sick servant boy who did not want Jesus to come to his home. He had so much faith that all he needed from Jesus was just a word that his servant healed. “Lord, I am not worthy or fit to have You come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant boy will be cured (v.8).” The faith of the Roman centurion marveled at Jesus because he was over many men in the army and believed if he told them to go, they would do as instructed to do. Jesus replied, “I tell you truly, I have not found so much faith as this - with anyone, even in Israel (v.10).” What an incredible faith statement from Jesus to say about the Gentile centurion. Trusting in and depending on Jesus Christ is all we must do, and if we have faith, as a tiny mustard seed, the blood of Jesus Christ (Matt 17:6 can save you).
The trumpet sounded (God’s Voice) like nothing we can imagine or even think to hear coming from the mountain along with the fire. The people were afraid and ran with fear. They asked Moses to speak to them and not God, for the people worried that death would come upon them. Why would they think death would come? Because their hearts were still not right with God. Many of those original Hebrews were from many nationalities and countries. They came to know God when the plagues came upon Egypt. Therefore, when it came time to migrate away from the wicked Pharaoh, Moses asked all who wanted to leave to pack their belongings and travel with them. They took on the Hebrew title once they left the land of Egypt. These were the ones who lived among the Hebrews and had already acknowledged the customs, but they were idol worshipers. Moses, guided by God, led the Hebrews to Mt. Sinai, the mountain of God, where His temporary sanctuary was established on earth. This journey was a physical relocation and a spiritual pilgrimage to help the Hebrews understand their place in God’s plan. God intended them to learn and embrace their role in His divine order, following the commandments and statutes set before the world’s creation. Read In Exodus 19:16–20
In Job 26:14, NIV, the fearsome voice of God is just a whisper. Yet, in this whisper, we can discern His magnificent power and awesomeness. Our omnipresent and omniscient God, despite His fearsome voice, displays His genuine love for humankind. His ultimate passion is to foster an authentic relationship with His creation. As human beings, can we genuinely fathom the depth of Almighty God's incredible power? We only need to look up and behold the beauty in the heavens, the earth, the trees, flowers, animals, and the miracle of birth. These are a few remarkable ways our loving Father God reveals His awesomeness. Creating and populating the world with all its diverse creatures is a feat beyond our comprehension. Take a moment to ponder this from a biblical or scientific standpoint. The creation of the universe, with its vastness and perpetual change, is a mystery that surpasses our understanding in this lifetime. Through faith and trust in the unseen, we can understand that the breath of God is the wind that envelops the earth. He spoke the world into existence, and the heavens became the sky we gaze upon today.
The passage in Romans 12:2, NLT, states, “Do not imitate the behavior and customs of this world, but allow God to transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.” Romans 12:9, NLT gives the perfect solution to any hateful act done to you. Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. Scriptures proclaim vengeance. Here is where you pray and ask God to forgive those who have wronged you and forgive them; they didn’t realize what they were doing as Jesus spoke on the cross as the Roman soldiers were casting lots on who received His clothes. (Luke 23:34, NIV) Jesus asserted, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Psalm 34:15-22, NKJV “gives hope to the hopeless and joy to the kindhearted man who knows that his Savior Jesus Christ will hear his prayers and protect him from all unrighteousness.” When life gets to be too much, and you want to give up, seek mental health professionals and pray. You can always count on Father God to be ready and willing to listen to you. He never slumbers or sleeps. (Psalms 121:2-4) Keep a stress-free lifestyle and steer free of negative individuals. Be positive, kind, and uplifting in your delivery. Even when people are prickly, you be the bigger person and pray before you answer or respond to those who seek to be confrontational.
esus, in an act of profound love, shouldered the burden of our sins, bearing the penalty for all of humanity. This act allowed God to turn His back on His Son, a sacrifice that was the epitome of love from the Almighty Father towards His Son and all of humankind. Psalm 22:2, 2 Corinthians 5:21, and Matthew 27:46 captures the sacrifice. Consider the enormity of the Creator’s sacrifice, as His Son endured the pain and anguish inflicted by humanity, all for the sake of humankind. The cross was the ultimate expression of love for humanity. Reflect on this profound statement: ‘For God so loved the world’ (and loved us so much, John 3:16). HE sent His Son to save us from our sins and then had to turn His back on His own Son. So why did the Holy Father turn His back? God, being Holy and Perfect, cannot tolerate sin or be associated with it. Consider the phrase ‘beyond the edges of God.’ When you contemplate the gift of salvation and realize the consequences of disregarding it, your heart is ready to embrace Jesus Christ. Father God is perfect. He is omnipotent, powerful, omnipresent, everywhere, present at all times, omniscient, all-knowing, and established on His authority as the supreme Godhead. We take for granted that our selfish concerns about life are more important than Jesus Christ. The next time life gets tough, remember who gave you life.
When we are people of action and go beyond the expected daily tasks, we can use our gifts to help others find redemption and salvation in Jesus Christ. I think of the times when Jesus helped me overcome negative attitudes that individuals had when they greeted someone from another ethnic race. But once the antagonistic person gets a chance to know you, then you can give them insights into who they should be rather than have preconceived notions that they obtained from their families and friends. Our world is vast and colorful, so Father God sent his precious Son Jesus to the world. He brought salvation to our world so we could live with the Triune God in heaven. After we gave our home to Satan, who tricked Eve into doubting Yahweh, she let the words of the serpent fool her and led her husband, Adam, into a fallen world. Now we are closer than ever to Father God sending HIS Son Yeshua to gather His church. So, if you are not ready, take time today to seek Messiah Jesus before He returns.
In Jeremiah 25:25, NIV, The Lord will roar from on high; he will thunder from his holy dwelling and roar mightily against his land. He will shout like those who tread the grapes against all who live on the earth.” This prophecy statement is for the end-time after the “catching up” of the Saints from the earth. God’s sound is soft and pleasing, but there will come a time at the end of times when the wrath of God will come, and all the universe will hear and see HIM. The Hebrews wanted to worship God at Mt. Horeb and wanted to hear God rather than Moses. So God stepped down to speak, and the children ran because the Majesty of God’s voice was more than they could stand with their unbelieving hearts and ears. (Ex 20:18-19, NIV) “When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed distant and told Moses, Speak to us yourself, and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us, or we will die.”
The life cycle begins with birth and encompasses milestones such as joy, career, financial stability, leisure, marriage, family, and death. Life goes beyond the visible realm. Father God said enjoy what I have created for you and multiply the planet. Yet, life encompasses so much more. First, we must obey our creator and love him. He sent His son, Jesus, to restore His corrupted creation so that His created humans could have a relationship with Him and reset the evil that Satan proposed. We now rectify our ancestors’ mistakes, ask for repentance, and have a genuine love relationship with Almighty God, who has many names. Second, have a face-to-face relationship with the Son of God, Messiah Jesus, known as Messiah Yeshua. Remember, Jesus was both a deity and a human while He was on earth. He is home, seated at God’s right hand. He came that we might have life and live it with abundance. Let me be straightforward: the sands of time are rapidly falling in the world’s hourglass. Yeshua is preparing to gather His church; a day will come when countless souls will vanish from the earth. I pray that your life will reflect the love of the triune Godhead. My earnest prayer for you is this: Do not delay. Join the gathering when the trumpet sounds, and escape the judgment of the Tribulation by ensuring you are not left behind on earth.
2 Thessalonians 3:5, AMP, God’s heart is the acknowledgment of our sins against Him and to obey His law and statutes that are the essential requirement and to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Matt 22:37, NIV).” Once we fulfill this requirement, then God can do His work in us. Jesus came so He could “proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners” (Isaiah 61:1, NIV) and set us free from bondage. Jesus’s mission was to endorse the Lamb, that was Himself, who would take up our sins and delete the temple sacrifice. God hated blood sacrifices because they did not forgive sins forever, just for that moment, and the next moment someone would sin, then an animal sacrifice would have to be performed. “What makes you think I want all your sacrifices? Says the Lord. I am sick of your burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fattened cattle. I get no pleasure from the blood of bulls and lambs and goats (Isa 1:11, NIV).” Our hearts atoned to God’s Word, and we relish every day, 24/7 of every hour, looking to be righteous in the Triune’s sight. We will repent now or on the last day, which is too late, but every knee will bow to the SON of MAN. God does not want us to perish but to have “everlasting” life with Him in Heaven.
In the grand scheme of the divine narrative, Anna was pivotal in announcing Jesus Christ. A poor woman, she prophesied the coming King of Kings. Her faith and devotion stood as a powerful symbol of hope, inspiring everyone who crossed her path. In Luke 2: 36-38, MSG, “Anna the prophetess was there, a daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher. She had become an aging woman, married for seven years and a widow for eighty-four. She never left the temple space, worshipping night and day with fasting and praying. When Simeon prayed in the temple, she showed up, broke into an anthem of praise to God, and spoke of the child to anyone waiting for Jerusalem’s freeing.” This outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Anna and Simeon was an everlasting testament to God’s love. She spoke and sang an anthem of praise to God, rejoicing in the privilege of witnessing the birth of the Messiah, the promised King. Simeon and Anna expected God to display something so big the Holy Spirit had to announce this monumental moment by stirring their spirits. Something incredible happened, and the saints proclaimed the coming. Yet, the announcement kept hidden until the exact time when Mary and Joseph appeared at the temple to celebrate Jesus’s circumcision (Bris in Hebrew).
“Don’t be misled: You can never make a fool out of God. Whatever you plant is what you’ll harvest (Galatians 6:7, MSG).” When someone claims to be apologetic without remorse, they only deceive themselves, as it is impossible to deceive God. The original translation states: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” (Gal 6:7, KJV) Numerous individuals attempt to deceive themselves into thinking they can negotiate or escape the vigilant gaze of God, feign repentance, and then return to sin without facing any repercussions. Nevertheless, God is all-knowing. In His infinite wisdom, He patiently waits for them to repent out of love, but if they refuse to do so, they will face the wrath of their earthly Father, who will subject them to eternal torment.
Exodus 14:14 (AMP): “The LORD will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.” I love this Scripture because it advises us to be silent after praying and see the hand of Yeshua’s work in our lives when trouble looms. The Egyptians followed the Israelites after the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, meaning HE made him stubborn and defiant once again. So, Pharaoh pursued the Israelites to the Red Sea. Many people think the Red Sea is the Reed Sea, is much closer to the land of Goshen, Egypt, but that is incorrect. If you read Exodus 14, the entire chapter, you will learn the sons of Israel walked from Goshen to the Red Sea. The Red Sea lies at the southern end of the Sinai Peninsula, formerly known as the Straits of Tiran in ancient times. The lesson here is we should be mindful of what we say, think, or do to others. Father God’s wrath is passive while the church is still on earth, but after the church leaves, the full wrath of Messiah Yeshua will be dominant with no grace or mercy for the wicked people of the world. The statement, “touch of Jesus” garment meant grace and mercy given to the woman who had bled within her body for years. But when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, she received more than healing but God’s grace. Grace and mercy are gifts offered daily by the Father. We must reach out and believe and receive what God has given us before as children of God who believe in Him. The word “touch” transports and anoints the believer from the inside out to the soul of man. You must choose to experience Jesus Christ for Him to change your life. The “touch” is just the start of miraculous healing for the believer. Once sinful man lets the spirit man take over and stop listening to man’s flesh, the soul and the spirit can coexist in harmony rather than conflict. Jesus wants to live inside us and waits for us to turn our lives over to Him. So what does this mean? It means surrendering our day-to-day lives so we can run with success, and without our Lord, you will run alone in failure. A practical task for individuals is to memorize Scripture passages in daily devotions and equip their tools against the devil’s attacks. Those tools are your armor; “the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit” (Ephesians 6:10-18).
Man believes he made everything we have on Earth; yet another hidden dimension plays into fact, and it’s God. Heaven is so fantastic we cannot describe it. It is indescribable, and Jesus speaks of the magnificent city He is making for us who believe in Him. In John 14:3, NLT, Jesus states, “When everything is ready, I will come and get you so that you will always be with me where I am.” What does it mean everything is ready? His words mean that His death was the preparation for us to receive a place in the Father’s house. It is ready now. Jesus Christ will come again when His Father gives the word, which has been a mystery for centuries. “But about that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (Mark 13:32) It is essential to clarify that Jesus, in his human form, intentionally didn’t disclose the time of his “catching up” of saints. Jesus did not exercise His omniscience except to further the kingdom. To unmask the coming (the church’s rapture) could have damaged the kingdom’s work. In his divinity, Jesus knows when He will come, and we must wait and do the church’s work until that day. Take time this week and during the time of Lent and reacquaint yourself with Jesus, the coming Messiah.
Luke 4:18 (ESV): “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed” After the Roman soldiers took off Jesus' clothes, there was a division of power between El Shaddai and His Son. The garment still possessed the energy that was a part of Jesus; a believer in God would feel the healing energy of the garment if they believed, then miraculous healing happened. (Luke 4:18, NIV) Since God would not want a man to worship a piece of cloth, the remnant garment lost its power once Jesus ascended into Heaven to HIS Father. The omnipotent and omnipresent God is always with us, but we neglect to see Him because we don’t look beyond our natural and physical image. We have deposited in our minds images from television, books, and photos from various paintings of what Jesus would have looked like in the natural. Yet, we don’t know what He looked like when He was on earth. There is no photo of Him because we look to HIM in the Spirit, not with the flesh. Open your heart, then your Bible, and seek Jesus Christ the Messiah, while HIS Holy Spirit restrains wickedness. There will be a day when Jehovah will remove HIS church and the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 6:9 “And He said “Go, and tell this people: Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.” As humans, we forget God is righteous and He wants a relationship with us. What does this mean? He wants to love us as no one has ever loved us. Our spiritual being is yearning for something more than we get from this life. We don’t know where to find the missing link. And we cannot get the love we need from the world; we search for love in the wrong places. Deuteronomy 31:6, NASB states, “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” Father God has planted a yearning in our Spirit to seek Him that comes from His “pure” love for man. Father God is present; listen to his “quiet voice” in our Spirit. Yet, a condition needs to be assumed: you turn off noise distractions around you. We can hear God’s voice once we tune into the surrounding quietness.
“Corinthians 4:3-4 If the Good News we preach is hidden behind a veil, it is hidden only from people who are perishing. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.” What do we experience with our eyes but never see with our hearts? Imagine someone who is blind and has never experienced sight. Their perspective on the world is distinct from that of sighted individuals. For example, folks who are blind view nothing. Suppose a doctor performs surgery to give them sight; they might notice blurry shadows and soon dazzling lights. The blind person makes out shapes and identifies the world as sighted people. What a miracle to explore the world with our eyes, and how blessed and excited a sighted person will show their joy. Let’s peek at God’s gift of salvation through the eyes of Jesus. We recognize our Lord Jesus Christ in everything created and hear of miracles generated daily in our world, from people being saved from one disaster to another. Before we knew Jesus, we did not discern the Holy Spirit. But once we find Jesus, the light of God enters our hearts, and we will see the details of God. When you are on the job, you expect Jehovah to help or listen to you. Your concept is correct; to believe the Lord made you and left you on earth to figure out everything for yourself is a fallacy. God would not be perfect if He ignored His creation. God made us, and Jesus knows every thought you will ever have in this life. He has provided you with your career, family, home, and substance of life. God’s provision is not just about material needs but also guidance, wisdom, and strength to face life’s challenges. He is always there, ready to provide for your needs in every aspect of your life. So why would He not know all the answers and how to solve them for you? Your success and solutions will not come to you as you think by your flesh or thoughts from your soul. Instead, your thoughts are guided by the Holy Spirit, who imparts the words of God into your spirit, and with time and work, your soul receives the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God’s divine messenger, who communicates His wisdom and guidance to you. God will often deposit the right words in someone’s mouth for you in a conversation or through a Scripture you have committed to memory. A practical task for individuals is to memorize Scripture passages in daily devotions and equip their tools against the devil’s attacks. Those tools are your armor. (Ephesians 6:10-18).
God speaks through the Scriptures in the Bible and the Torah, whether we want to believe the written Word or the message. We have missed the entire redemptive message by dividing ourselves into many religious groups. These religious groups have confused people over the centuries, making it difficult for the lost and bewildered to find their way to God. Another scheme of the devil is to keep the Word of God from man and have him continue to sin, therefore having no redemptive qualities. Remember, Satan wants to win this battle, and he wants as many people on his side as possible, including confused Christians. Humankind has established so many precepts, laws, and religions that it has made it hard for God to break through and teach HIS straightforward Word to his people. Let’s not forget the many false prophets that have harmed more pretend Christians than we can count. The seeking man wants to find the truth, but Satan and his tactical demons have been on the job before you can think, and they want to steer you away from the truth and give you a false god to worship, and that can come in many modes. For example, false TV ministers, evangelists, pop-up community church ministers, and educated ministers who just learned theology but never gave their heart and soul to Christ are just a few examples. Remember to look up to Messiah Yeshua this Christmas and Chanukah season and find the truth of Almighty God’s words.
Did God not turn his back just once in all eternity on his Son so Jesus could fulfill the sin of humanity? Just think how awful it was for the Creator to have his Son go through the pain and anguish humanity sent him through just for humankind. But this was the ultimate gift of love for humanity. So, take a moment and think about this statement. God so loved the world (and loved us so much). He sent His Son to save us from our sins and then had to turn His back on His own Son. So why did the Holy Father turn His back? He cannot see sin or be a part of sin since Almighty God is Holy and Perfect. What do the words imply ‘beyond the edges of God?’ When you think about the gift and realize you have thrown it away without thinking of the consequences of your steps, that is when your heart is ripe to connect with God. He is our Creator, and we can never make a bargain with Him. Eternity is the ultimate life to have with Almighty God. Since many folks don’t care about their lives, they miss out on God’s best for his children. Matthew 27:45–46 (NIV) states that Father God couldn’t stand in the sight of sin. This holiday season of Chanukah (December 7-15), think about bringing the light of Messiah Yeshua into the world and someone’s life.
Jeremiah 25:30, NIV: “Now prophesy all these words against them and say to them: “ ‘The Lord will roar from on high; he will thunder from his holy dwelling and roar mightily against his land. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, shout against all who live on the earth.” The prophecy of the Lord’s coming has seamlessly infiltrated our daily lives, especially since 2020. We are living in the last days before the return of Jesus Christ. As our world is focused on earthly material things to satisfy our longings, we should keep our vision on the spiritual. Wars and rumors of wars and pestilence have become the norm. During this Thanksgiving season, let us focus on Jesus Christ, the coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Be thankful and kind to everyone, and remember to be patient.
1 Corinthians 2:14 NIV “The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.” Often, our lives become stretched in many directions to get our projects done at work, shop for holiday gifts, care for loved ones, and spend time with friends. But when do we spend time with Jesus Christ, who died for our sins? The scripture in this writing asserts that individuals who doubt the love and existence of Father God and His Son Jesus cannot grasp the beliefs of those who have faith in the Triune God. Those who follow the Christian faith should act, dress, and hunger for items associated with Heaven rather than objects from this flawed world. Many of our friends and family may perceive a disconnect when we embrace the redemptive life of Jesus Christ. However, their understanding needs to be revised. We want to stay friends. Our identity undergoes a profound shift once we connect with our holy Father. So when family, coworkers, and friends perceive you as unkind or peculiar, embrace their mockery with indifference. They don’t understand the true meaning of being a child of the most High God. Explain the gift of the Gospel to them, the Good News of Jesus Christ. Remember, our calling is higher than our spiritual being; our beacon of light must shine in this dark world.
When Moses led the Hebrews through the Red Sea, they celebrated, but soon after, they complained about the water shortage. Their actions caused Father God pain, and his anger burned. Despite that, He gave them water, manners, and quail as food, yet they still complained. Each time, God spared them. But when the Hebrews had a party at the foot of Mt. Sinai with the golden calf. That blatant act of disobedience saddened the Father, and HE was also ready to take their lives. Moses stood in the gap, saving the people from God’s wrath. Yet, God loved them, and as promised Abraham, He would make him a mighty nation. The nomadic family became the Jewish nation that gave us Jesus, who came to save us from our sinful ways. The Jewish people lost their homeland when they worshiped idol gods. God promised to bring them back and reclaim their land. Genesis 12:3, NIV, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Also, Ezekiel 36:24-27 says, “For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.” So, yes, El Shaddai punishes. The day will come when the passive wrath disappears. The Great White Throne of God will bring Father God’s wrath upon unbelievers. Keep your eyes lifted and pray as the hour of Jesus Christ’s return is soon.
Psalm 40 verse 8 describes Jehovah as affirming that (1) offered sacrifice must follow a heart attitude (faith-filled contrition, delight, and gratitude) or else it means nothing (see Psalm 51:16-19), and (2) the animal sacrifices never satisfied God’s qualification for sin, “for it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins” (Heb 10:4). Therefore, Jesus conquered the practice of blood and goat, ram, and lamb sacrifice and HE became the lamb for humanity. At sundown on September 15, 2023, Rosh Hashanah begins, a time to celebrate the Creation of the World and the creation of Adam and Eve. Along with the holiday festivities, Jewish people also use this time to meditate on their personal growth and goals for the upcoming year. Following Rosh Hashanah, then Teshuvah begins. It is the central theme of the time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, known as the “Ten Days of Teshuvah.” The translation of Teshuvah from the Hebrew language is repentance. Still, the literal meaning is return, as if turning back to something you’ve strayed from or looked away from Almighty God. As our Jewish brothers and sisters reflect during this time, they may light candles and recite prayers. Christian believers find time for introspection and repentance to strengthen their faith walk. Our Jewish brothers and sisters celebrate certain holidays that are also important for us to observe now so we will be ready to worship Father God in the millennium reign.

For Christian individuals in a hurry, it's time to disembark the merry-go-round and seek Jesus Christ. Allow Him sufficient time to integrate into your spirit and grant you serenity. I had to relax and unwind by sitting. Over the last two months, it's been a constant struggle for me to complete my projects and gather insights to launch my new book series. Now, I am overwhelmed. During the holiday, I took a brief respite from books, deadlines, videos, family concerns, and marketing to relax and commune with my Heavenly Father. Give time to thank God for the blessing He has given to you, and let Him know you love Him. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6 ESV).
Last week, we examined the word salvation. Let’s continue with who has authority over Creation. In the book of Job, Elihu tells Job that he has forgotten what Father God has done for him and who has control over man. The edge of God is just a minuscule speck. Several weeks ago, we had a horrendous storm, and the house shook when the thunder roared and rumbled. I trembled inside and leaped in my seat because of the intensity of the thunder and the lighting with a blast of the thunder. The book of Job speaks of thunder in Job 37, 1-2, AMP: “Indeed, at His thundering, my heart trembles and leaps out of its place. Listen carefully to the thunder of His voice and the rumbling that goes out of His mouth!” Father God, let me and my neighborhood know who was in charge. We are still discussing the shaking of our homes, God’s blasting, ear-piercing voice. The same voice God spoke to the Israelites in Deuteronomy 5:22-27 on Mt. Sinai when the people were frightened and asked Moses to talk to God. The massive blaze emanating from the mountain and the bellowing voice of the LORD left the people petrified, envisioning their demise. These sacred Scriptures show that El Shaddai has authority over our lives and everything in Creation.
First, what is salvation? As per biblical doctrines, salvation refers to the deliverance from sin, which leads to death and separation from Father God. The term salvation refers to everlasting, divine deliverance from wrongdoing. Jesus equated saving an individual with entering the kingdom of God (Matthew 19:24-25). Second, the Christian doctrine of salvation is the deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin granted to those who accept by faith God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Messiah Jesus. Salvation is available in Jesus alone (John 14:5; Acts 4:12) and depends on Almighty God alone for provision and assurance. Third, Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection achieved our salvation and is an undeserved gift of Father God and only available through faith in HIS Son Jesus (Ephesians 2:8). Why the bronze snake? (Numbers 21:8-9) I am not one to like snakes, but the lesson of the bronze snake is a message from God. Now let’s get to the story. The Israelites had complained to Moses when they left Egypt for the Promised Land. They had a problem with grumbling, a sin, and Yahweh had gotten tired of the constant complaining against HIM. (Numbers 11:1, 14:2) So the active wrath of Yahweh against sin began. (Numbers 21:6) “Then the Lord sent poisonous snakes among the people, and they bit them so that many Israelites died.” Father God’s love of the Israelites and us did prevail, and HE did offer a way out of dying with the bites of the snakes. He told Moses to make a bronze snake image and put it on a pole. The people would look at it and recover. Yahweh delivered the people from HIS fierce judgment and gave HIS mercy. Because Almighty God is divine, HE must deal with our sins and show us his full holy nature to humanity. Since Father God is holy, Yahweh must deal with our sins. Because He is love, HE chooses to offer us mercy. So the next time you grumble or see a medical symbol on an ambulance. Stop, think, repent of your grumbling, and remember what happened to those in the wilderness who forgot that Father God is divine and our Creator.
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. (Isaiah 65:24) The Millennium Kingdom is coming soon after seven years of tribulation. Father God will send His Son, Messiah Yeshua, to Earth with the resurrected Saints. He will rule for one thousand years of peace and prosperity, where humanity will live without fear of war. Messiah Jesus will reign on Earth, and people will live longer and procreate on the planet again. Every nation will worship, and people will sense God’s nearness. Those nations who refuse to worship will face the Messiah’s wrath. (Isaiah 45:23b; Jeremiah 10:25) Isaiah 65:24 states the “closeness of the people to the Messiah, and when they need Him, he will answer right away those who have righteousness.” God will silence those who rebel and remain on Earth after the tribulation, and they cannot express themselves until the end of the Millennium reign. A joyful time is in store for the people on Earth and the resurrected Saints who will help govern the Earth. “Indeed, these are the mere edges of His ways, and how small a whisper we hear of Him! But the thunder of His power, who can understand?” (Job26:14) What is the mere edge of God? Will we one day discover the edges of the universe and Almighty God? I believe those whose confession is centered on Father God and confess their sins and believe in God’s Son Jesus Christ will see Father God, Father Son, and Father Holy Spirit. Man will travel to the very edges of the universe, and every second for eons will be an electrifying experience every second of the day to see the wonders of God, the universe, and how the Bible stories of saints who lived and died in antiquity. The mere stories of Jesus, while he was on earth, will come to life, and our hearts will be glad and full of love. The Bible is a love story of Father God and His Son Yeshua to humanity. An exhilarating love story for the saints who commit their lives to live holy lives and not earthly lives. We have not seen what Father God has in store for us when we meet HIM face-to-face one day in heaven. Remember, we will eventually live on a new earth, a breathtaking site for everyone who loves and repents their sins. Pentecost is significant in both the Old and New Testaments. Pentecost is a Greek festival known in the Old Testament as the Feast of Weeks. The Greek word means fifty refers to the fifty days that have elapsed since the wave offering of Passover. A wave offering of Passover—signals the offering that is waved before God at the altar will not be burned, and shows that the offering being waved belongs to God. The Feast of Weeks celebrated the end of the barley, then wheat grain harvest. Pentecost in antiquity signaled the start of the church age. Pentecost is May 28th in the Christian church. Shavuot is a two-day Jewish holiday that falls on the Hebrew calendar dates of Sivan 6–7. Shavuot 2023 begins at sundown on Thursday, May 25, 2023, and concludes at nightfall on Shabbat, May 27, 2023. Then the 10 Commandments are read on May 26, 2023.
Psalm 119:133,(BSB) “Order my steps in Your word; let no sin rule over me.” These are prolific words of wisdom for someone wanting to seek Christ and repent of sins. If we seek Jesus Christ and ask for forgiveness, we have an advocate to help us not to sin, the Holy Spirit. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, a divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and will to help us daily. Once we ask for Christ to help us in our daily walk in everything we do, seek, and say, we have become faithful followers of the Messiah, and He is coming soon. “Look up for your redemption is near people. “(Luke 21:28)
As I pondered the words of Jesus in my studies this week in Luke 23:39-43, it occurred to me that we are like the criminals who mocked Jesus. One criminal declared to Jesus to save himself. Many call out to our Savior only when convenient, and then we forget Jesus until the next crisis. After a moment of self-evaluation, the other thief realized that he was dying and would be away from the light of God. He repented at once and asked Jesus to remember him when he came into His Kingdom. Many Christians will choose to live in the sunshine or darkness at the time of death. Being a fence-sitting Christian is not what Jehovah God intended for his children. Jesus clarified that the only way to him was through HIM. He also stated that you choose the path you walk, the narrow or the broad, but no middle road exists. (Matthew 7:13-14) Evaluate your life today and remember that time is short, and we have two choices: the wide road of the world or the narrow road that leads to joy and happiness, repentance, and obedience toward Father God. We have ten days until Palm Sunday on April 2, and the anticipation is building. Then, I realized how fast time passed, and my life blurred. I stopped, put the brakes on, relaxed, and read books that had sat on the bookcase for over a year. So, I took extra time to read and study the Bible this week. But a Bible verse I read made me stop in my tracks. “Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” Proverbs 30:5-6 NKJV. When we think of Almighty God, HE warns us not to change HIS words. Yet people give their interpretation to suit their purpose. That is dangerous, since everyone will recount what they do in the judgment one day. So, since the Holy Week is around the corner, pray and give God HIS glory because HE sends HIS Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from the wrath to come in the future. Let’s look at the “Cloth” Jesus was wearing. The cloth spun sheep’s wool, comprising one piece without seams. There was nothing special about it except the tassels, the tallit, and the prayer shawl. It had a symbol on it unique to a Hebrew Rabbi. (Num.15:37-40, NIV) “And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribbon of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of YHWH, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your Elohim.” (From the Torah) The tassel fringe on the borders of the robe was what the woman with the issue of blood touched. A synagogue official came and bowed to Jesus and asked him to heal his daughter, that had just died. In Matthew 9:19-20, NIV “and Yahusha (Jesus) arose, followed him, and so did his disciples. And, behold, a woman, diseased with an issue of blood for twelve years, came behind him and touched the hem of his garment. For the past three years, there have been wars, famines, civil unrest, weather shifts, and other forms of disruption in our globe, yet nobody seems to care. El Shaddai has given us passive judgment. Meaning we no longer want to listen to HIM or pray to HIM, so HE has backed away and let the universe go “crazy,” and that includes humanity. We have not given Almighty God a thought or a prayer. Our churches might have members, but they are “fence-sitting” Christians who only want the title and the Sunday morning shout, then back on Monday through Saturday being worldly and not god-centered Christians. Therefore, those who might want to be a Christian have no transparent model of a Christian presence and how they can model themselves to be righteous. Reprobate means rejected by God and beyond hope of salvation. The unnamed woman in the Bible with the issue of blood touched the tassel of Jesus’s clothing. (Luke 8:43-49) He immediately recognized that someone had touched Him. How did Jesus know power had left Him? This particular story in the Bible has baffled me for years. Because Jesus was both human and a deity, he had the advantage as a deity of knowing when the blood had cleansed someone of their sins (Leviticus 17:11) The woman’s faith was to be healed by stretching out her hand in the crowd and touching Jesus, then her twelve-year hemorrhage stopped. Jesus knew someone took healing power from Him. His immediate response, Jesus said (v 48), “then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” The key to the entire story is the woman touched the fringe of the tassel on his clothing because her faith was great, and she knew the Messiah Jesus had the power to heal her of sin and make her whole.
As a nation, we are imploding from within, and I wanted to know what the word of God says about our demise in the Bible. Then, I ran across Revelation 5:6, which explains the seven spirits of God and describes Jesus’s appearance in Heaven. I desired more data. What are the seven spirits? The number seven refers to perfection and completion. John’s vision in the Bible includes a picture of the perfect and complete Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the third Father of the trinity, uses a seven-fold description. Isaiah 11:4 “The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.” (NIV) The prophecy is that the Messiah would be empowered not by seven individual spirits but by the One Spirit, described in seven ways: 1) The Spirit of the LORD 2) The Spirit of wisdom 3) The Spirit of understanding 4) The Spirit of counsel 5) The Spirit of power 6) The Spirit of knowledge 7) The Spirit of the fear of the LORD What a revelation to know that when Jesus Christ returns, not only will HE be King of Kings and Lord of Lords, but HIS ministry taught since the beginning of time will prevail.
One day, a person raised a question that stumped me. How do you find God? I had to pause and think for a minute because I had never been without God. I became a Christian as a young child because of my parents, family ministers, and upbringing. So I never had to answer that question. I always knew God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. After a moment of contemplation, here is my answer. There is no place where God is not. Therefore, God is Omnipresent (present everywhere), Omnipotent (a Power that can do anything), and Omniscient (the power that knows everything). The Creator of the universe is everywhere in everything that we breathe, see, and touch, including every human being. First, you sit quietly for 10 -15 minutes and ask Adonai (LORD) to speak to you and come into your heart. Second, ask for forgiveness of your sins, and you must be sincerely sorry for your sins. Then wait for the calming peace to overpower your being. If you are faking, God knows and will not answer your petitions, and the power of his Holy Spirit will not come upon you. Lastly, Another way is to read the book of the Psalms, and as you read a chapter, sit quietly and ask Almighty God(El Shaddai) to reveal HIS word to you. There are other methods, but this has worked for me and those who have asked me throughout the ages.
As I read through Scripture this week, as I fast and pray for guidance to improve my walk with Jesus, I often wonder how many people have the heart of God. What is the heart of God? Adonai died on the cross for our sins, and what more could He do for us since He loves us more than we can imagine? El Elyon sends His Son to reconcile us to Him after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, which shows the love that we, as mortals, have no concept of because we look at everything through a filter. But stop and think for a moment; we love our children and ourselves. So, if our child is in trouble, will we go the extra mile to help them? I say yes. Then if we think of our tender moments of love for our children, of course, Adonai would love and give His ultimate love to His beautiful creation. But remember, no matter how we determine priorities. They’ll be misplaced unless we consider how Almighty God wants us to live and what’s most important to Him—His love. 2 Corinth 11:2-3.
What a year it has been. We have had: Hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, meteorites, Covid variants, Mpox, measles, smallpox, RSV, strep throat variant, global warming, blizzard, etc. The calamities call for believers in El Shaddai to wake up because he is yelling. He is trying to get our attention to listen to Him and repent. Yet no one is listening—silence from the population. “Though they cry to me, I will not listen to them” Jeremiah 11:11 So what is sin? It is an immoral act, a transgression against Almighty God’s divine law. “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions.” 2 Timothy 4:3 We are living in a time of itching ears. So we do what we want and go wherever we want and don’t give Almighty God a second thought, and of course, the world is in chaos. During the few days left to 2022, we must take an inventory of our lives, change for the better, and listen to Jehovah, so our chaos will begin to lessen and give us peace.
It is the birth of our Immanuel, who came down to save us from ourselves, so we will have a relationship with the Creator of the universe. Many people forget that Jesus is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity. At Christmas, we are reminded that Jesus was born and had one main goal to achieve when He arrived. To die on the cross for our sins and then arise from the grave to go back to HIS home. As we celebrate the holidays with family and friends, remember the true reason for our holiday. Remember to give to those who have no food, or shelter, and those suffering from mental illness, and love everyone. I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: (2 Timothy 4:1)
Christmas is the most exciting time for children, but what about adults? Are we excited about shopping, parties, decorating, and baking? I find the festivities to be stressful and painful for me. So many friends and family transitioned over the years, especially this year, and the Christmas holiday is less exciting. Hanukkah shows joy and light, which is why I enjoy the holiday. However, people forget Jesus celebrated Hanukkah; the one person who is the epitome of light and joy is Christ. And being God, with his presence bringing glory to the Temple, how could Jesus, the embodiment of light, deliverance, and peace, abstain from appearing in the Temple for the festival commemorating those very things? So this 2022 year, my family will celebrate Christmas with lights, prayer, giving to others, and thanksgiving as the holiday commands. The Hanukkah celebration signified a festival offering thanksgiving to God for his deliverance and for preserving what God had commanded. Nano Bible Israeli scientists on December 2007 said they had created the world’s most miniature Hebrew Bible, fitting the book onto a gold-coated silicon chip smaller than a pinhead or a grain of sugar. Scientists at Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology, packed the 308,428 words of what Christians refer to as the Old Testament onto a 0.5mm square of silicon by etching its surface with particle beams. “The Guinness Book of World Records has a Bible 50 times bigger,” said Ohad Zohar, who directed the project. He said he now wanted to take pictures of the nano-Bible and blow it up to a seven-by-seven metre poster, making it “possible to read the entire bible with the naked eye.” The tiny Bible was developed as part of an educational drive to increase interest in nanoscience among teenagers. Habakkuk 2:14: "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." With every breath I take each day, I am in awe of the Holy God and how he has made man and created the vast heavens. "Everything that has breath praise the Lord." (Ps 150:6) We are the hands, mouth, feet, eyes, tongues, and ears of El Shaddai, and yet we are wicked. Our Holy King and Father adores his creation as he smiles at us. There will be a day in the future when the entire universe will praise Almighty God in the Messianic Age, and His glory will fill the earth. One day those who are genuine followers of God will come back to live and rule the world with the Son of the King of Heaven. Messiah Jesus will return, just as He promised. “Stop trusting in mankind — whose breath is in his nose—for what is he really worth?” Isaiah 2:21-22. TLV. Every day, we check our social media accounts and cell phones to see if we have messages with our pretend friends who are counterfeit people behind avatars. We wonder why we haven’t achieved success in our careers online because social media is a fake avenue to achieve success even though we’re told to interact with people. I'm not too fond of social media, yet I must use it for my books. It doesn't connect with reality. Jesus Christ is infinite, and so is his death on the cross. As a Christian, I must be ready to transition to paradise. Isaiah states to fear and be in awe of Adonai and to stop trusting humankind for our daily substance. Humanity will turn on you in a second, leaving you wondering what happened and where you went wrong. But Messiah Jesus, God’s Son, is always the same and never changes as we travel along our journey to our ultimate destiny. So pick up your Bible, brush the dust off of it and read it. You will find peace and comfort that you forgot existed in our fallen world.
Heavenly Father has a mysterious way of communicating with His Creation, and we tend to ignore the words and actions He had set before us. El Shaddai spoke one word to nothing, and Creation happened. I have a revenant fear of Almighty God, and I love His words. He proclaimed a profound statement that has forever pierced my heart. Mark4:12-13 states: “The mystery of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those on the outside everything is expressed in parables, so that,’ they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven.’” Then Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables?” The Scripture means only those dedicated Christians who study the word will understand the deep meanings and mysteries of the Scriptures. If people remain babies to word and never grow, God’s words are nothing to them. As soon as they hear the word, it is snatched away and taken by Satan, Mark 4:15. So we must be careful and grow in stature, wisdom, and spirit to hear, repent, and obey Almighty God, then we will not ignore His message of Salvation for the world. It amazes me how many people believe God is a vengeful God. Our Creator is not vindictive but loving because our story between Almighty God and us is a love story. The Old Testament declares Jesus Christ and his coming and the rules and regulations (613), to be exact. The Ten Commandments were always a part of the heavenly Kingdom. What El Shaddai requires of his creation is repentance, obedience, trust, love, faith, and a renewed heart that comes after we confess our sins. Yes, in the Old Testament, God was molding the Hebrew people to set up his laws on earth, so he poured His wrath on his children, who decided disobedience was the best alternative. In the New Testament, God’s passive wrath comes with various tests that we must repeat until we get the message to live without sin. Once we repent, then we are a part of the Holy Trinity. We must remember God is Holy, and no unrighteousness can be in his domain. So the next time someone says Jehovah is wrathful, let them know the Supreme Being God loves his mortal man. He wants HIS children (us) to be sinless by repenting of our sins, and then we will be clean and able to come before the throne of God. Read Isaiah 6:1-5
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23 (NIV) As we travel through this world, many folks are committed to various things that have no significance in Almighty God's design for our lives. Many people put their hopes on earthly values, people, politics, jobs, family, and social media. People make it a point to promise to help when trouble comes, but they are missing when you need them to step forward. But Father God is always available no matter the time of day, yet many people fail to thank God and see HIM as our source of life. Father God's promises are true and never changing because He keeps his word. He is always faithful, loving, powerful, and sovereign. Jehovah God is always around through our struggles and doubts when we fail to believe in Him. The Scriptures tell of our eternal future with God, and if we would stop and read the word of Jehovah and repent of our sin (chuva - repentance in Hebrew), then we as mortals will experience the true promises of God. What is the first thought that comes to mind when you think of joy? For me, writing a novel, it is published, and seeing it on bookstore shelves is a joy. When I have studied the word of God and can remember the learned Scriptures verbatim, I can later use them in my ministry. Or when a wonderful life of a newborn baby takes its first breath, and the parents and relatives smile and swoon over a precious life Jehovah has given. Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit of God. The Scriptures say, “Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23) In the Bible, “joy means a feeling of good pleasure and happiness dependent on who Jesus is rather than on who we are or what is happening around us.” Joy brings laughter to us when we, as a corporate group of citizens, recognize and worship Jesus as our Savior as we look for His coming to take us to our heavenly home. What is a fence sitting, Christian? According to the Merriman dictionary, a state of indecision or neutrality with respect to conflicting positions. It’s a person who does just enough to get by without committing their entire lives to Jesus Christ. For example, they go to church and praise Jesus, but after church service is over, they return to their immoral earthly habits. Fence sitting Christian don’t read their Bible if they have one. No study of the word, don’t pray to Father God unless there is a crisis, then back to their normal lives, and no relationship with Jesus. These folks are seasonal Christians only when there is an emergency, holidays, or use God’s name to impress people. If you are not with Jesus, then you are against him. Sitting on the fence means you are still sitting with the defeated Satan. Satan is your Father, not Father God. Luke 11:14-28. God hates fence sitters, and there is no room in heaven for them because there is no decision, either way, to worship Father God or against them. No decision is against Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died for our sins, so restoration and communion happen with Yahweh for eternity. So I wrote the book Just the Edge of God for folks who are fence sitting Christians.
“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” (Psalm 103:8) Psalm 103, verse 8 came to mind this week as I traveled the streets of my city and experienced the awful craziness of people on the roads driving fast, cutting me off on the expressway, tailgating, etc. It has been nerve-racking and quite fearful for everyone on the streets or anywhere. My husband and I make sure our family prays the blood of Jesus before we start the car and while we travel. I believe if I didn’t pray, we would have been injured. In this wicked climate we are experiencing, we must keep our eye on Jesus and “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess 5:17). We are in the last of the last days, and the signs are everywhere; we should keep our thoughts and mind on saving as many souls as possible and “save other by snatching then from the fire.” (Jude 1:23) and keep ourselves from falling into sin. Not saying we are perfect or don’t have sin. Instead, we should repent daily and let the Holy Spirit guide us in our walk with the LORD. So take time this week and thank Jesus Christ for coming to Earth to save us.
With chaos and strife rage in the world, one would wonder what is going on if you are a non-Christian. But I am a Christian, and it is mind-blogging for me. I search the Scriptures daily to get understanding to keep me focused on the mission Jesus has given me to do before He calls me to my home. Everyone has a purpose in our lives, and those who accept the calling achieve the highest reward from Almighty God. People who miss the goal still have a chance once they repent. One verse stuck with me this week is Ecclesiastes 12:13. It sums up our life on earth in one short sentence. “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this the duty of all mankind.” Another translation; “When all has been heard, the end of the matter is: fear God worship Him with awe-filled reverence, knowing that He is Almighty God and keep His commandments, for this applies to every person.” What more can I say? Seek Jesus today while we can find him.
What does it mean to be blessed? Matthew 5:6 states, “blessed spiritually and calm with life joy in God’s favor.” The second half of the verse reads, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” I love the verse because it describes the pure heart of Jehovah and how we are to behave and act toward each other. Peacemakers express the authentic nature of God’s personality. Jesus wants us to become loving individuals. Then, we can be called His children. The devil has a foothold when people respond to disputes with unrighteous actions. The devil’s primary goal is chaos and quarrels. We must try to resolve any conflicts as Jesus commands in His statutes and commandments. God blesses us with the joy and lifeblood of Himself. If we are Christians and have committed our lives to Him, we can enjoy a calm and peaceful life with the Father. Find a moment this week to read the Bible. Find five to ten minutes to give Father God your attention. It will surprise you how your life will change.
The month of June has brought anxious thoughts to many folks I have spoken with regarding our country, political events, and society. During Jesus’s time, there was political upheaval and harsh treatment of Christians and Jews who lived in Jerusalem. But, the major fact was Jesus was not only a man but a deity who held his disciples close to Him with His words from the Scriptures. He delivered nourishment to His disciples through His Holy Spirit that spread worldwide. In John 4:14, Jesus states, “but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” As Christians, we must spread the ACTUAL word of Jesus to love one another as we do ourselves and bring peace where there is conflict and love where hate abounds. No one ever said living on this planet would be easy because once you are a Christian, the weight of the world surrounds us, and as a Christian, we are called to be consistent with our actions, not misleading and deceptive. Remember, Almighty God is watching everyone constantly and listening to every word and action. So, be a humble Christian and show the love of God.
Jesus was in the wilderness forty days and nights to be tempted by the devil. He was comforted by angels. Why was He tempted? (Luke 4:1-2) Jesus had to be tempted like a man, yet He did not sin. Instead, he fed on the Word of God and found the strength to overcome the devil's tricks. So, we are constantly tempted to do wrong by Satan, and we must study, read, pray, and make the right choices to do what God requires. If we move forward and do what we want rather than what Jesus mandates, we have sinned against Jesus. Then His death and resurrection will mean nothing to us. Anytime we disobey and do what we want rather than what Father God requires, we are still in the wilderness of life. Father God wants to have a relationship with us. Once we allow ourselves to listen and remain quiet and hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, then life will change, and we will leave the wilderness of our lives. Last week I wrote about water. We all seek water to purify our broken spirit once we are out of the wilderness of life, which is a test to see if we will obey, and it is a preparation for greater heights that God has prepared for us.
Can we live with inadequate water? The answer is no. “Up to 60% of our human bodies is water.” According to the U.S Geological Survey website. The Bible speaks of water, but there is a specific water symbol called baptism. As a Christian, I remember being baptized at seven years of age when I came to believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior and LORD. By the profession of my faith, I was reborn and purified of my old self and created into my Spiritual awareness of Father God when I was submerged into the water. Water in Hebrew means Mayim. I know I am drawn to water because it is peaceful, calm, unsettled, and many other adjectives, but I feel best when I can sit at the shore and think. Water has religious purpose and meaning, from Noah and the flood, Elijah who stopped the rain, to healing eyes by Jesus at a pool in Bethesda in the Bible. The verse that makes me pause and think is Genesis 1:2b “the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Have you ever considered the story of the two thieves who hung on the cross with Jesus? Why would one of the two thieves who hung on the cross repent and change his eternity, and the other thief refuse Jesus? Luke 23:33-43. The answer is simple. One thief responded to the call of salvation, whereas the other thief wanted public acceptance and continued to mock Jesus. Both men were in pain, and their lives hung between life and death. Yet, with all the pain Jesus endured, both men heard the voice of the Holy Spirit call them to repentance. But only one thief responded to Jesus’s acceptance of salvation, a gift to sinners. So Jesus told the repentant thief. “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43. What a wonderful testimony for the thief who found genuine joy and now lives with Jesus in paradise, whereas the thief who continued to mock Jesus found death and misery in the darkness of hell. The rejected thief will one day kneel before the King of Kings and look up from the depths of hell and grieve over his mistake of denying His Lord.
From the beginning, Jesus has always been God, the second part of the Trinity, and He will always be God the Son who will reveal Himself soon as the King of King and Lord of Lords at the Second Coming. Jesus always knew who His Father was when He stated in John 8:58, “Very truly I tell you, . . . before Abraham was born, I am!” So why do we have to know Jesus as our Savior? The only way to get to Heaven or God you must believe in Jesus and have a relationship with Him. Relationship means praying, reading, studying the Bible daily, sitting and talking with Jesus, and waiting for an answer from Him. Not a quick prayer and jump up to continue your day. If you have a friend you cherish, it would be rude to get up and leave the room once the person starts speaking. How do you think Jesus feels when we leave the room before He speaks to us? A relationship is between two people. With Jesus, our relationship is between our Lord, who loves us more than we could ever imagine. Find time to connect with Jesus today.
Did you spend time this week getting to know the Creator? God’s heart is His essence. His personality, feelings, and inclinations. For Yahweh to unveil Himself, we must seek Him and want His will, purpose, and desires for His created mortals. The book of James 4:8 states, “If we come to God with a contrite heart, He will draw near to you.” We can read Scripture daily, but that doesn’t mean we are close. We must pray, be quiet, and ask God to draw near. But we must have a heart full of compassion with a willingness to study and seek knowledge through prayer and petition. The Scriptures state the words in the Bible breathed out into the Saints who wrote the words. (2 Timothy 3:16) Since the Scriptures are true, then seeking the heart of Father God is a straightforward task. If we can read memoirs of earthly man, then we can study the Bible and seek Yahweh. Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants to have a relationship beyond a Shabbat service. Therefore, choose to transform your life and seek Yahweh. You will never regret your decision. In the Bible, Job 37:5 tells of God’s voice and how it thunders in marvelous ways. “He does great things beyond our understanding.” I took time this week and sat and studied the beauty of God and how the birds chirp early morning as they praise God for the start of another day. The squirrels scatter to find food, yet none of God’s creatures go hungry. No matter what, our Heavenly Father takes care of His magnificent Creation. We, as mortals, can learn valuable lessons from studying our Bibles on how to treat each other with love. During the week, take ten minutes and read a Scripture. Then, ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the phrase and place the words in your heart. Read Just the Edge of God
We have experienced unexpected occurrences that devastated our lives. How did we handle the crisis? In my case. I had life-altering changes during the covid plague that changed the course of my singing career. After the surgery, my singing voice was quiet. God blessed me with a stellar professional career in classical music, but my voice was silent. I wondered if I could sing after thyroid surgery, and my voice returned after prayer and vocal therapy. I wasn’t in charge of my voice. God gave my singing voice to me as a special gift to praise and honor Him, and the Scriptures state, “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:21b) The content that Job expressed was his loss of family and wealth. But whatever we own is a gift, and if we don’t honor God, He will take our talent. I have been a faithful servant and knew Jesus would restore what the devil took with prayer, faith, and petition. My point is to be alert to what you consider a talent. Your very life is a blessing, and use it to worship honor, praise, and thank Father God for everything you own and take nothing for granted. Maundy Thursday is a celebrated day we remember our Lord and Savior’s unjust detention, questioned, flogged, ridiculed, spat on, and eventually crucified on a wooden cross the next day. We have to ponder the gravity of what Jesus endured for two days to give us a lifetime of salvation with Him. I am reminded of the Scripture of Mark 6:45-52, where Jesus walks on water. The Gospel of Mark records the event differently than the other two Gospels. Mark’s statement stunned me and made me contemplate our fickleness as humans — “their heart was hardened” v. 52b. The disciples saw Jesus walking on water; they still forgot the miracle signs from hours earlier. Jesus had fed the five thousand people, not counting women and children. We miss opportunities to praise God one second, and the next second we forget and return to our wicked ways. My challenge this Holy Week for us is to stop and reflect on our actions before we harm each other with words. If someone is cruel, sarcastic, etc., stop and speculate what would Jesus do? A quote from Charles Sheldon, a minister in the 1897s, coined the phrase in his book.
Holy Week sets the stage for Resurrection Sunday and Passover since we haven’t hugged family in three years; during the feast, pray and acknowledge Father God because you are alive. The season of Passover is a reminder for everyone, especially Gentiles and Jews, of our Exodus from sin to the ever-present Shekhinah Glory of Magnificent God. We should thank our Creator for sending HIS Son, Jesus, to save us from permanent death and loss to misery and darkness. If Jesus had not come, we could not have received salvation from our wicked sins. Our fore-parents set before humanity a death sentence when they touched the deadly forbidden fruit from the Tree of Life. Jesus Christ resurrected from darkness to light for us, and HE knows every pain, thought, and anguish an individual might ever experience in this dark world. Purim celebrates the dramatic turnaround events in the Bible, where wicked Haman tried to annihilate the Jewish people of ancient Persia. But, the Jewish people saved through God’s miraculous placement of events, as expressed by the heroics of Mordechai and Esther. On the 14th of Adar (March), Jewish people celebrate Purim. In ancient walled cities such as Jerusalem, Shushan Purim (former ancient city Susa) is celebrated on the 15th of Adar. The story of Esther this week will bring new light to your understanding of the plight of the Jewish people and why they celebrate with costumes, elaborate meals, and treats. Here is a quick summary: King Achashverosh throws a huge six-month party, and Queen Vashti refuses to follow orders. They chose Esther from a global search, and she marries the King. Mordechai, her uncle, uncovers a plot to assassinate the King and awarded. The King’s top advisor, Haman, gets a decree to destroy the Jewish people because he hates them, especially Mordechai. Esther reverses the law by Haman to kill Jews with her uncle’s help. Haman hung on the gallows, and Mordechai became prime minister. As we prepare for Passover season, what expectations does God have of us, and how can we converse with Father God to improve our relationship with Him? Passover reminds us how far we have developed in our spiritual walk as Christians and Jewish people in this immoral world. Father God never wants us to forget; He saved oppression from his chosen people permitted by the Egyptians and raptured them to a land of safety and prosperity. The Lord will descend and take us with him as the earth plunges further into confusion. The Tribulation will begin, and the Antichrist will reign for seven horrific years. We must be mindful of what is coming, prepare our hearts and minds to go to our actual homes in Heaven, and give up these earthly shacks made of straw. Find time during this season to change your heart and lean into Messiah Yeshua and give Him the glory, honor, and love He so deserves because He gave His life for us so we could live with Him in Heaven. This week’s studies included the book of Hebrews chapters 3&4. I extended the investigation into the ‘eyes of God’ from my earlier blog. I discovered God’s eyes witness more than we might believe. The eyes of God are terrifying to me because Jehovah God’s eyes see our thoughts, exposing the deep intentions of our heart, our nature, and cuts into the soul and spirit. He evaluates our entire person, especially those who hide their unsympathetic nature. We shroud our delivery to fool the masses of colleagues, friends, and family and walk with arrogance to cover our weaknesses. But God sees the real person with his roaming eyes that pierce the deepest part of our nature. The fierce eyes of God affirmed in the books of 2 Chronicles 16:9, Revelation 4:8, and Ezekiel 10:12; Father God is omnipotent, and no one can escape his wrath. There is One who knows our humanity, and He is Jesus the Son of God, who sympathizes and understands our weaknesses and temptations; tempted, yet committed no sin. Father God is looking for sinners and Christians to approach the throne without fear. He wants man to be open to receive His mercy for our failures and grace to help us if we trust, rely on, and are confident in our salvation through Almighty God’s power.
Do we know where the edge of God resides? Almighty God doesn’t live on a planet in the universe, but outside the universe He created. He looks beneath his feet to see everything we do and say. God is beyond what man can imagine and infinite. The book of Isaiah 6:1 states; “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple.” John 12:41 recounted God’s awareness; “Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.” When you measure the expanse of God and our universe, you might get a headache; our universe is immutable, and the glorious magnificence of El Shaddai is beyond mortal comprehension. Isaiah himself tells us, John 6:1, “But no man hath seen God at any time. The Word is the express image of His Person. This glory was of the pre-incarnate Word, who was at the beginning with God, and was God.”
A verse caught my eye that made me hesitate; to ponder the superiority of Father God and how he communicates with us. The verse is from the book of Isaiah 30:21; “And your ears hear a word behind you saying; ‘This is the way, walk in it.’” Wow, just what does that mean? The Holy Spirit, known as the Ruach HaKodesh, is the very breath of Almighty God who breathed life into creation. The wind the Disciples received when Jesus told them to wait in Jerusalem; received the full power and anointing of the Holy Spirit’s authority. The Holy Spirit is the third part of the triune Godhead. When El Shaddai speaks to us, the Ruach Elohim (Spirit of God) communicates the breath, spirit, and wind of Holy God. Pause and reflect for a second... Almighty God loves us so much he cautiously guides our walk as He leads our steps and says, “This is the way, walk righteously.” As you advance your day, think of these words. God does not speak in a booming voice but a still small voice as stated in 1Kings 19:12; “After the earthquake came to a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came to a gentle whisper.” One of the translations states that “after the fire, there was a sound of a gentle blowing.” So Elijah had to wrap himself in a cloak and stood at the entrance to the cave to see El Shaddai. A voice asked Elijah, “What are outdoing her, Elijah” God knew that Elijah was weary, and his time was coming to an end. Father God appointed Elisha as the successor to strike down the numerous Baal’s and Jehu who would follow Ahab as King of Israel of the northern tribes. We often think of God as a vengeful God as He was in the Old Testament, but don’t let the peaceful words that God spoke to Elijah as the soft and firm voice fool you. In the New Testament, when Jesus arrived, Father God was still in the business of vengefulness, but He began to speak with a tolerant voice until He returned for the Millennium reign. Remember, Messiah Jesus converses daily to His own those who know Him, but He also speaks to the unrighteous.
Where have we gone wrong as a society to forget Almighty God (El Shaddai) as the creator and sustainer of life in the universe? As mortals on earth, we have fallen from the grace of God and now are suffering his passive wrath with the ten plagues of the Egyptians given in chapters seven through eleven in the book of Exodus. We should notice humans’ pandemics, weather anomalies, and infightings are global. There is a reason for the troubles of the world. Jesus Christ is screaming at us to stop, sit, and listen to him, and acknowledge that HE is KING of KINGS and the LORD of LORDS. But just as children break a directive, when we say stop disobeying and relax, the offspring disregards the order, we give them one more chance, and the juvenile violates the warning. The punishment begins because the signal didn’t enter the young person’s intellect. We mortals are reaping the discipline of Almighty God; we have overlooked the love and care God presents daily. HE offers Grace and Mercy every day, but our selfish desires took center stage over repentance. For the 2022 year, please wake up, people! Time is not on your side. Seek Almighty God with all of your heart and soul, for He is on His way back to earth, and we as a God’s creation must be ready to rapture. Proverbs 21:21 states, “He who earnestly seeks righteousness and loyalty, finds life, righteousness, and honor.” If you put Jesus’s name in the Scripture, you get: “He who seeks Jesus’s righteousness and Jesus’ love finds Jesus’ prosperity, honor.” So for the New Year, we must seek Messiah Jesus and not the earthly things of this wicked world. Light brings happiness, warmth, joy, peace, comfort, calm spirit, and a dozen more adjectives. Light is a metaphor for life, happiness, righteousness, or understanding, and the Bible states that Jesus Christ is the light in the world. Many Bible verses point to Jesus as the light; (Isaiah 2:5; John 8:12; John 1:9; 1 John 1:7; Ephesian 5:8; and Matthew 5:16), to name a few. To walk in the light is to have righteousness in your life and mature as a Christian to be holy before God. We are light to a bleak world for people who have a sense of a triune God. The festival of lights for my Jewish friends is a celebration of spiritual and physical triumphs of hope; no matter how bleak life gets, a light shines in the darkness. Chanukah points to the physical domination of a nation such as the Greek-Syrians, and the Hellenist cultures that tried to jeopardize the spirituality of Judaism. Yet, the Jewish people have survived since Abraham and will continue to prevail until Messiah Yeshua returns. Christianity and Judaism related because both groups of people are looking for the return of the Messiah; for Christians, Jesus, and Messianic Jews, Messiah Yeshua. Chag urim Sameach! Chaos is what we hear from the moment we wake until we go to bed. So, when do we discover silence to reconnect with our soul? I struggled with this question and found it difficult to reestablish silence. So, I decided that on my lunch hour, exercise to recenter my life and release stress. In addition, I chose several days during lunch to study the Word. By alternating Bible Word study and exercise, my work life improved and less stressed. One Scripture that stuck in my mind and gave me solace was Isaiah 6:9b “Keep on hearing but do not understand; keep on seeing but do not perceive.” My translation of the verse is that if you are always busy, you cannot hear the Word of God and never conceive of the Word to enter your spirit. We must direct our soul and spirit to connect with Father God, and once we stop, relax, and listen, we will find happiness that transcends this world. Read Just the Edge of God
According to the Bible, they are fallen angels known as the Sons of man in Ezekiel 28, and since Satan, once known as angel Lucifer rebelled against God and fell from heaven to earth, he took one-third of the angelic host. These demon angels joined the insurrection in Revelation 12 against God. We know the angels that went with Satan as fallen angels who became demons. Now not all the angels are bound according to Jude verse 6 says they bound the angels that sinned “with everlasting chains.” (1 Peter 5:8) But the angels that sinned against the women in Genesis 6 are bound in chains. The referenced angels in Genesis 6 were “sons of God,” but they sinned against the mortal women, and their disembodied souls became demons. A new race of people known as the Nephilim was the offspring of the Nephilim. And their children became demons and were killed during the Great Flood in the Bible. Why all the discord in the world today? First - These are the last days, and Jesus is coming soon. People who claim to know Jesus will now have to prove their faith or reject Jesus Christ. Most folks have a Sunday worship and not a lasting trust to support a relationship with Jesus. So, as the week flows, rebellion and discord of sin advance. Second - The devil is having a “going out of business sale,” and he wants to take as many people with him to Hell as possible. Former Christian and Christians are being duped into the lie of Satan. He stands back and laughs as he snatches more folks from the narrow road and back to the wide road of destruction. (Matthew 7:13-14) The book of Jude states that “men sneer at anything which they do not understand and whatever they do know by instinct — as irrational animals do — by these things they are destroyed.” Jude1:10 NIV. Why the tallit? It reminded the Hebrews, now known as Jewish people today, to remember God and His commandments. The eight strings and five knots are a physical representation of the Torah’s 613 mitzvahs. It functioned like this: Each letter from the Hebrew alphabet has a corresponding numerical value (gematria). The numerical values of the five letters that form the Hebrew word tzitzit add up to 600. Add the eight strings and five knots of each tassel, and the total is 613. The garment with tzitzyot reminds the wearer of Torah commandments, specified in Numbers 15:39. But styles changed over the centuries, and today the simple garments of biblical times replaced with robes, jackets, trousers, shawls, and shirts. The woman within Scripture who had bled for twelve years touched the tallit of Jesus and healed. Jesus, the Son of God, was not only man but deity, and He still had His energy from heaven. After much thought and study on the book of Luke 8:43-48. I decided Jesus’s being manifested energy, and the disciples learned after His death the value of Jesus’ true deity. My husband and I were walking this week along the river and relished in nature’s finest beauty. We looked at the trees and noticed they had not turned to the vibrant fall colors since it had been unseasonably warm. It is almost mid-October, and normally by now, the leaves in Southern Michigan have changed color because, by Halloween, the leaves are falling from the trees. But, not this year, everything is late, and our weather changes around the world. Something is happening in the spiritual world, and as Christians, we must be astute and wake up and lead others to Jesus Christ. Jesus, our Savior, is coming soon, and nature is screaming out loud to let us know things are not the same as in past years. Various plagues, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, dormant volcanos are coming alive, wars, divisions among nations and people in families, and divides in countries. Matthew 24:6 states, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars.” So, as people who might have an affiliation with Jesus, let us get to work and bring more folks into the fold. And, of course, keep the world in prayer, for we know not the day or hour when Jesus will return.
Sukkot (September 21-29, 2021) is a time of joy, celebration, and closeness with God as the Jewish people shelter in huts to commemorate the desert survival under God’s cloud of Glory; and pray for the past year of rains, crops, and righteous judgment for the coming year. Scripture today was Psalm 34:8 AMP: “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him.” Almighty God is favorable toward humankind, and we should acknowledge His goodness every day for the many blessing that He provides for us to live on earth. We forget our life might have ended overnight as many people didn’t awake to see the light of day. The holiday Sukkot has given me a new appreciation of life and the seriousness of living because my Jewish sisters and brothers know how to celebrate their life with God. They know how to ask for forgiveness, study the Torah, and assemble as a whole body of people. As Christians, we could take a few lessons from our Jewish cousins and learn to praise, honor, love, and worship God Almighty every day with a reverent and pure heart. Read Just the Edge of God
Yom Kippur is about personal growth, prayer, and charity are the three tools to grow beyond yourself and transcend your ego. It is about having a selfless spirit, then you can grow as a person. The day is special because Jewish communities connect to G-d, other people, and themselves. This special day happens once a year, and the community as a whole will spend an entire day removed from all ordinary habits such as eating and drinking and devote the day fully to G-d. The scripture for the day was Philippians 4:8, which outlines the eight things we must use to help guide our thoughts. Where Yom Kippur is about selflessness, Philippians deals with concepts to think about things that are selfless and think about what is true, noble, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise. So, fix your thoughts on Almighty God El Shaddai and become a better person for Jesus, the Son of God. “Gemar ChatimahTovahh” means literally, May you be sealed for good in the Book of Life. September 8 - 9, 2021, starts World Day of Prayer; we set aside the two days to have collective prayers for the world. September 11 marks twenty years since the assault on our Nation that has forever changed our lives and how we live in the world. Another event happened on 4 Nisan, 3793 (Friday, April 3, AD 33; this is an approximate date. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, gave his life for the world by crucifixion. He took the punishment for our sins all at once on the cross that changed the course of history for humanity. The Scriptures foretold a time that Immanuel would arrive, but many did not believe; even after his birth and death, folks denied the Son of God. (Isaiah 9:6-7) Where does prayer fit into this scenario? First, prayer changes everything in the universe. What we say and how we say it matters because Jehovah God hears and sees everything every mortal says or does. Second, if we pray for repentance and submit our prayers with a heart of forgiveness, then He will listen. Then healing for our cities, states, country, and the world will begin. Rosh Hashanah starts on Monday, September 6 at sundown and continues through nightfall on Wednesday, September 8. A day my Jewish friends celebrate the creation of Adam and Eve, and it is celebrated as the head of the Jewish year. “Shanah Tovah!” (“A Good New Year!”) What a momentous day in history for humankind, for it doesn’t matter what your religious affiliation might be, we should celebrate the beginning of humanity. Father God loves his creation, and we should remember why we are here on earth every day of our lives. We are to spread the goodness of Jesus Christ as the coming Messiah if you are a Messianic Jewish person or Christian individual. Time is running out for us on earth as more disasters and human plagues encompass the planet. Nevertheless, we should look around and see that the appointed time for Christ’s return is around the corner, so celebrate the New Year with our cousins and sound the ram’s horn and spread the Good News of Messiah Yeshua. The word faith is complex for most people, especially for End-Time believers who struggled to believe in a Creator who hears their prayers and those who don't know the Creator - Jehovah God who interact with social media outlets then receive erroneous information about life. My discovery this week was when I asked a friend. Who are you? And do you believe in God? First of all, they came back with earthly answers to who they are as a person, rather than the substance of who Jesus views them as a person of the Most High God. Second, they claimed they know and believe in Jesus Christ but hesitated when answering. I finally stated that without faith, you are calling Jesus, a liar, and faith means trusting Jesus to handle all of your concerns in life. Why is faith so important? The Scriptures say: "without faith, it is impossible to please God." (Hebrews 11:16), and without faith, we cannot be saved. (John 3:16). Our Christian walk with Jehovah God must be what HE ordained, and if you doubt for just one second. You have rejected Jehovah God, and your life is doomed to hellfire. Read Just the Edge of God.
Have you ever wondered why Jehovah doesn’t answer your prayers right away on your timetable? Jehovah is a Spirit, and HE doesn’t work on humanity’s agenda but HIS own. There is no such thing as a timetable with GOD; he made time, so what we see as an inconvenience when we pray and nothing takes place doesn’t concern God. We have learned that Jehovah knows tomorrow before it arrives. And HE knew us as individuals before we were conceived in our mother’s womb; therefore, the triune Head has no thought of us complaining when we pray and think an answer will happen immediately. God is not to be mocked, says the Scriptures. HE is fire and a Spirit, and we would do well to revere HIS glory and power. Father God is silent, loud when necessary to get our attention, loving when we need compassion and unconditional love, multi-complex in his dealings with us as mortals, and forgiving when we implore forgiveness within our soul; then answers will come quickly. Remember always we are not in charge, even though we assume we control our lives. Jesus, the coming Messiah, is the KING and the ruler since HIS Father, Jehovah, gave HIM dominion over the universe. Just the Edge of God book gives only a hint of what humanity must do to be righteous. First, men must read the word for themselves and study the Scriptures; then, they will know the will of God. Romans 9:17 -18 has a powerful voice that we should heed. It states that God had a plan before the creation of the world. “I raise you up for this very purpose, to display MY power in dealing with you… So then, He has mercy on whom He wills, and He hardens the heart of whom He wills.” When you study the Scripture, you miss an essential part of the line. God made Pharaoh for the initial time and place to display HIS authority as a Righteous God. The Scripture also states that He hardens the hearts of those He chooses and has mercy on those he chooses. God is awesome because He knows our thoughts before we have them, and He knew us before we were born. Almighty God sent His beloved Son Jesus to earth before man was Created to save his most precious image of himself. For our God knew Satan would tempt Adam and Eve, and we would have to show the Triune Godhead that we genuinely love him with no promptings from a Most Holy God.
Matthew 6:6 “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your unseen Father. Then your Father, who sees what I do in secret, will reward you.” The verse transmitted chills through my essence because I have a relationship with Jesus, but the verse’s true significance caught me by surprise. Meaning, there’s secret wisdom; I will perceive that no one else will get because of my communication with Holy God. As I study and draw closer to Jesus daily, HE will show circumstances in the scriptures and my way of life that is meant for me and no one else. The insight will occur when I close the door in a quiet room by myself, then sit, listen, and communicate with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior as He reveals the wisdom of the universe to me. He tells me things that are “secret,” and thus HE and I will recognize these profound secrets of life. But my efforts are futile if I don’t have the correct connection with my Father. The verse humbled me to pray and petition forgiveness of my pridefulness. I am glad scripture teaches us to sit back and assess ourselves and seek forgiveness. Just the Edge of God will drive you to take stock of your way of life.
El Shaddai’s heart (God Almighty) is not like a human heart, nor are His ways like our ways. El Shaddai is love and forgiveness for the creation He has made. God cannot be near sin or sinful ways; He turns away from unrighteousness and toward righteousness in soul, spirit, and mind. We have to come to God as pure as children in heart before becoming defiled by their parents, who teach them detestable ways of life. The scripture states we are to be “little children (believers, dear ones), and not love mercy in theory with word or with tongue (giving lip service) but in our action and in truth (sincerity), because practical acts of love are more than words.” 1 John 3:18. It delighted me to see Amanda Gorman, a young poet laureate, proclaim her brilliance to the world through poetry in an eloquent manner through her words on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Her movements and expressions spoke volumes and are the real heart of El Shaddai displayed as unconditional love to humanity. I contemplated the words of Jesus today in the scripture Luke 23:39-43; I realized we’re made of dirt from the ground that Jehovah created. I remembered a fundamental truth that he loves us so much; He gave His life to us before the world began as part of the triune Godhead. Jesus came and brought eternal life after we die, not darkness away from Him. Hell was never intended for man but for the angels who defied God and withdrew with Lucifer as a rebellion against Elohim. My upcoming novel is about a demon-possessed man who looks to capture Messianic Jews and Christian’s souls then endanger a team of computer engineers and astronauts in a deadly plot of deceit. Did God not turn his back just once in all eternity on his Son so Jesus could fulfill the sin of humanity? Just think how awful this was for the Creator to have his Son go through the pain and anguish humanity sent him through just for mankind, and this is the ultimate Love gift for mankind. Just take a moment and think about this statement. God so loved the world (and loved us so much) He sent His Son to save us of our sins and then had to turn His back on His own Son. Almighty God sends His Son to save us from the fires of Hell and bring Salvation to the lost world that turned over the keys given to us by Jehovah to Satan who rules at this time in history. However, Satan’s time is coming to an end very soon, and he will be locked in the Abyss of Hell for at least a Millennium. We are to look up and thank Jesus for every day we have to save others and wake them up before the Second Coming of Jesus. Wake up, people, and be kind, considerate, loving, and peaceful. We are in a dilemma, and this Christmas is not joyous as in years past. I find myself looking back at previous Christmas celebrations with family, and yes, it is sad. However, I am happy and thankful that I am alive and able to see my family via Zoom this year, and we are all safe. I look forward to the day when my family and friends can hug each other and celebrate life without social restraints. We must remember this virus doesn't care who you are; it is a virus that has attacked the world. This Christmas, be thankful for your family, health, life, and introduce yourself to Jesus Christ. He is a wonderful Savior who will lift your spirit. Find time to sing, play Christmas music, visit family via zoom, help someone in need of love and a hug. If you are the person in need, give yourself a hug and cry but pick yourself up and thank God for your life no matter your circumstances. Look up at the stars and ask the Saviour, Jesus Christ, to help you believe with your heart and ask for forgiveness of your sins. I guarantee He will answer you in a miraculous way that you would never expect. Remember, Almighty God does love you more than you can imagine.
In the Bible, a poor woman named Anna waited years for the Messiah Jesus to come to the earth. After her husband’s death, she lived in the temple and was 84 years old when Joseph and Mary brought their son to the temple for his circumcision. Luke 2:36-38 tells the story of Anna. As we celebrate Christmas, my excitement to enjoy the music, smells of food, and decorations mounts. This year’s difference is the family connection since we are in a plague and unable to visit our loved ones, making this holiday difficult. So many families have lost loved ones, jobs, and hope. Yet Christmas is the time of year when miracles occur, and as a Christian, I have adopted the attitude to be hopeful and joyful. We must surround others this Christmas who are suffering from anxiety and loss. Let’s be doers and people who have compassion for others, love those who are not lovable, and forgive people for whatever they have said or done in this crazy year of COVID-19. Simeon finally touched and held the King of Kings, and can you imagine falling in love immediately with the creator of the earth as you embrace him in your arms. I can't fathom the exhilaration he felt in his heart and soul. The light finally came to a dark world to show us how to live in harmony and peace. The world's darkness was devastating to the ancient civilization, and seeing a glorious light appear on a dark, cold night in a shepherd field — frightening yet wonderful. The shepherds received a light gift and moved from the fields to a house to a stall where animals slept to see a miracle, the promised Messiah. Just as Simeon held a child in his arms, so did the Shepherds have the light in their hearts as well. Yeshua (Jesus) came to bring joy, love, and life in HIM so we could live eternally with HIM in Heaven. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.” Isaiah 43:2 AMP In this chapter of Isaiah, the Lord promises the Israelites that they will return to their promised land, even if nations attempt to come against them. The same promise from God Almighty rings true for us today. He will be with us through our struggles of financial difficulties, healthcare, failed economy, family strife, and spiritual well-being. Almighty, God is telling us to be vigilant and stick to the plan of faithfulness to Him, and we will succeed. To be honest, being prayerful and faithful during this pandemic is not easy. However, remain steadfast to whatever comes, Jesus will never leave you alone, but He will walk with you to the very end of life. God has blessed our world, nation, and individuals. We take for granted the awesomeness of His omnipotence and his unconditional love for His creation. Thanksgiving is a time to look back at our blessing, no matter the hurt and pain we may have witnessed during 2020. If you are breathing without oxygen, you are blessed; If you still have a job, you are blessed; If you have your family members, you are blessed; If you have food on your table, you are blessed; If you a roof over your head with heat and lights, you are blessed; If you are alive today, you are blessed. Every day is a new day to start over with a clean slate. Look around at the small things in your life and be thankful—an excellent sign to Jesus of your love of Him and other people. The cognitive part of us makes us think we are in charge of our lives and we fail consistently? We must turn our lives over to Jesus Christ. He mentions worry many times in the Bible that we turn our cares and concerns over to HIM who can help and withstand the evil powers of Satan who plants the thoughts in our mind. Worry is a sin and demonic. It robs us of our health, life missions, and the entire body, mind, and spirit of our being. As believers and non-believers in Jesus Christ, we were bought with a price so high that no one on earth could buy the blood sacrifice Jesus paid in full for everyone on the planet from the beginning until the end of time. As I pondered the words of Jesus in my studies this week in Luke 23:39-43, it occurred to me we are like the criminals who mocked Jesus. One criminal declared to Jesus to save himself. Many of us call out to our Savior only when convenient, and then we forgot Jesus until the next crisis. After a moment of self-evaluation, the other thief realized that he was dying and would be away from the light of God. He repented at once and asked Jesus to remember him when he came into His Kingdom. Many Christians will choose at the time of death to live in the sunshine or darkness. Being a fence-sitting Christian is not what Jehovah God intended for his children. Jesus clarified that the only way to him was through HIM. He also stated you choose the path you walk, the narrow or the broad, but no middle road exists. (Matthew 7:13-14) Evaluate your life today and remember time is short, and we have two choices: the wide road of the world or the narrow road that leads to joy and happiness, repentance and obedience toward Father God. Matt 6:24 -“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” What does it mean to serve two masters in the scriptures? When your attention is divided on earthly aspirations and not godly qualities. For instance, when a religious person decides it’s okay to go to the casino every night and gamble. Then on Sabbath goes to church but cannot give 10 percent of the monies they earned for the week to God and is a deacon in the church. They creep around, thinking no one will identify them as they continue the harmful habit. God’s laws are higher than man’s law because HE made the laws before HE created man. Everyone will sit before the high court of justice in Jehovah’s courtroom when you depart the earth. So consider what is more important in your life—a life with Jehovah God or life with humanity on earth. The choice is up to you as an individual. Remember, Jesus Christ died for our sins on a wretched cross.
The Edge of Father God is more than we can discover and imagine. The universe creates galaxies and stars every millisecond, and the edge of the universe is never reached. Father God formed the heavens and earth for us to enjoy before the fall of man, and since the start of time, the entire universe has groaned to be perfect. But, one day time will be no more. The world’s perfection will begin after the Millennium Reign and after the Great White Judgment Throne of Jesus Christ. Then a generation of perfect people will wander and study the theology of God’s magnificence which will take an eternity. Read, Just the Edge of God .
How do you maintain your focus in a world of chaos? First, keep our eyes on the prize set before us, that is Jesus Christ, our Savior. Second, spread the Gospel, which is the Good News. We have to fervently run faster than we have in the past; to spread the news that Jesus Christ is the Messiah Yeshua to everybody. Time is running out and born again Christians must rise and increase the WORD. Third, why are we hiding in the background? We must push beyond our fear, focus on Jesus, and make sure we connect our life to Jesus without blemish. As a witness, we must be ready to answer questions with sound doctrine.
The Praying Mantis piqued my interest the most because of its staunchness while waiting for its prey. It's a ruthless predator of one to six inches in size. Yet, it remains tranquil until it catches its much larger prey. So what can we learn from this tiny insect? First, to be still and wait on God to give us answers. Psalm 46. Second, Jesus always gives us a heart check-up every second of the day, and we fail the test consistently. Therefore, Jesus has to issue an emergency transfusion of the Holy Spirit to help us get back on track. If we could wait on Jesus Christ to give us answers, then we would not make as many mistakes in our lives. Lastly, we as Christians need to practice the prayer poise but keep our eyes open and alert to the prowl of Satan. The only reason we close our eyes is to concentrate, but you can focus with your eyes open and still get your prayers to Father God. Remember, HIS eyes are everywhere 24/7, and that is why we need to keep our eyes on Jesus Christ.
On July 4th, we celebrate the nation’s independence, and that is enjoyable as a country. But what about the liberation of our souls from Satan? Satan is raging a full-scale assault on humanity, and he wants those who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ the most. He has the wicked already, but many saints sit on the fence and unsure what they believe. The enemy works on individual lukewarm Christians with constant lies, deceptive tactics, health issues, moral decline, and more inaccuracies. Evil people will die and go to eternal damnation, and the righteous will be with Jesus Christ and come back to earth to live and rule with Father God in the millennium. The future is now, and so many individuals do not know that the coming of Jesus Christ is seconds from HIS return to claim his children. For the record, God takes no pleasure in the death of the evil, but he desires the wicked to turn from their sin. (Ezekiel 33:11) Jesus gave a free gift, and it’s available to everyone. Scripture states, “Don’t worry about your life, what you eat or drink, or bout your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Matthew 6:25 NIV Jesus tells us to stop and give no time to worry, for worry is a sin. (Philippians 4:6-7) Jesus wants man to have a healthy spirit, for we must look beyond everyday conditions and give our anxious thoughts to God and let Him take care of our life. We have not learned that Almighty God sees the past, present, and future as one event. The perception is hard to see, but if you pray and ask God to give you wisdom and understanding, as King Solomon asks God to equip him with the knowledge to oversee his people, we can lead successful and fulfilled lives. Psalm 2:5-6, AMP, “He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying, yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.” I studied the verses of this Psalm this week and discovered that the word “installed” is Hebrew (nasakhti, which means poured out, a synonym of “anointed”) with special Levitical meaning to Exodus 30:9 and Hebrew 9:4 leading to the way of the Messiah as the King. Father God is getting ready to set up HIS kingdom on earth, but HE has to rid the world of the wicked, and He is roaring today to get prepared for HIS arrival. The plague we have gone through is no mistake, and it will continue until Father God has cleansed the individuals that HE will take as HIS anointed people. Almighty God is in control of the universe despite the rebellions going on throughout the planet. If you are not a Christian, it is time to seek out Father God and know HIS Son, Jesus Christ. Matthew 14:36 “and begged Him they might only touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched it were made perfectly well.” The word hem means tassel, border of a garment, or fringe. It was customary to wear tassels on the corners of the garments for the men throughout their generations. God instructed the Jewish men to make blue thread tassels and put them on the edges of their robes. Numbers 15:38-39 says that they would remember all the commandments of the LORD and do them when they recall the tassels. The woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and healed. How was it possible for the woman to be restored? First, faith in being healed, and if she could touch HIS garment, then she knew healing would ensue. Second, Jesus is the Son of God, so he was part deity and part man, and HE had divine power from HIS FATHER, Almighty GOD. Jesus’s power was used to heal the sick of mind and body. As I have studied more about the hem of the garment of Jesus, it was one complete robe, and when He was on earth, most garments had two pieces during this time in antiquity. Jesus’s garment was like those of the priest one-piece according to John 19:23-24.
Who can understand the power of the Holy God? He is vast and unexplainable to our minds as humans. He performs so many assignments at once that our minds can’t imagine what he does within a minuscule second. I am so awed by Elohim that I sit and contemplate His magnificent glory, goodness, love, and creation. As citizens of this vast universe, we forget we are mere mortals in a world meant to expand beyond what our eyes can see. Almighty God thunders in the storms, our lives, and within the universe. If you listen, one can hear Him talking to us. We must take time and listen to God, then obey what He has written in the Scriptures and upon our hearts. During this perilous time in the world with Covid-19, we have not taken the time to listen. God sent His Son Jesus to help us understand who He is, but we have ignored His Son. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. He needs us to listen and treat each other with respect and resemble His children; and not children of the Devil. Job 26:14 spoke to me and said, “How small a whisper we hear of Him.” My question to everyone. Are you listening to the whisper, or are you listening to yourself?
There is no end to Jehovah. I remember asking my grandmother as a child who created God. My grandmother told me; God has always been and never created; He has always been - no beginning and no end. I thought it strange because I saw God through human eyes. As I grew and studied scriptures, I understood and learned that Jehovah is a spirit that embodies God the Father, God the Son (Jesus/Yeshua), and God the Holy Spirit. We only see a tiny part of Almighty God. He is so vast and magnanimous we will never see or understand His omnipotence in these sinful fleshly bodies. We see God’s true essence after death. He has left many mysteries for us lay folks and scholars of Theology to ponder. The puzzles found in the Bible are for us to study and experience Him for ourselves, then Jehovah will show many secrets of the scriptures and the universe. God delights in our curiosity of Him; this is one reason He left enigmas. All the travails and quarrels we traverse on earth against our fellow man not worth the heartache. Our purpose on earth, to learn to love God with genuine hearts and introduce other folks to Holy God.
What is cleansing? As I wrote the book, "Just the Edge of God", the thought of cleansing came to mind several times. I didn’t understand why God was cleansing my soul. He was preparing me to write his books. Cleaning of my spirit and soul gave me the temperament worthy of writing Inspirational books. For example, stress often materialized because of my job since they overlooked me for promotions. Knowing I had the back of the company meant nothing to top management. I didn’t realize God had a better job waiting for me. Then I realized my help didn’t come from the things of this life but from Almighty God (Jesus), who always worked on my behalf even when I didn’t recognize the love He had for me as his child. If we can Touch His Garment, then healing happens. Read Numbers 13: 26-33, Numbers 14, and find out what happened to the children of Israel. We can learn lessons from this story in the scriptures. Who is the Holy Spirit? It is the third person of the triune God. He is the person who gives direction and insight when we are going in the wrong direction with our lives. He speaks quietly and prompts our hearts to move away from danger and into the light of Almighty God. When I wrote this book, it was a complete download from the Holy Spirit in three hours and, of course, took a year to complete, but it was an awe-inspiring event for me. The pleasure to write Christian Inspirational and Christian Fantasy/Sci-fi novels has been a secret yearling I have had since childhood. I love books. If we are persistent in what we ask Almighty God for in prayer. Then He will answer our heartfelt petitions. Prayer commits us to Him in a sincere relationship that cultivates a friendship. If we remain true to Almighty God, He will remain faithful to us through His son Jesus (Yeshua). Think about your relationship with family and friends. If you are deceitful in friendships, you lose friends. Jesus requires the same honesty with Him. Take time to think about these points.

Historically, the Jews in the Scriptures ensued their old ways of idol worship, so losing the temple again and scattered throughout the world as a punishment that has lasted until modern times. The Jewish people are now moving back to their homeland in droves from every nation in the world. God promised to bring them back even though they were disobedient; this was still His chosen people. We can learn much from our Jewish cousins about worshipping Adonai and obeying HIM. The books of Leviticus and Ezekiel describe the temple’s architectural plan and how the Jews were to worship and live before Adonai. One day, righteous humanity will live in harmony, surrounded by God’s divine light and power with new concentrated bodies. Transformed men will establish themselves as holy before God's face, mirroring the Jewish people's holiness during Solomon’s temple construction. When the fire came from Heaven, the people worshiped because they were in awe of a Holy and Righteous God who was a consuming fire. The intensity of this event was so incredible; they could not look up to Adonai, for they were not worthy. The people had temporally learned to be obedient in the presence of Holy Yahweh. The Levitical priests could not go into the temple because they would have died in before Almighty God. Scripture states “that no man can come into the presence of God and live (Exodus 33:20).”
Messiah Yeshua had been scorned, mocked, beaten, and suffered for all humankind’s sins. Messiah Yeshua also suffered the grief of temptation by Satan during His forty-day excursion to the wilderness. Everyone has experienced a wilderness moment, where we are thirsty and poor in Spirit, and only Almighty God can help us through the weariness in our bodies and minds. The wilderness experience tests the soul and Spirit to become trustworthy and mighty even in weakness. God said you are strong when you are weak. You must be strong in the face of sickness, death, loss of a job or family, and suicidal thoughts that may have permeated from the devil and his minions to your mind. When humanity looks to Messiah Yeshua on the cross, they see every sin that man will commit in the entire universe until the end of time. “Crucifixion was an ancient execution method, in which the criminal’s hands and feet were bound or nailed to a wooden, cross-like structure. It was a capital punishment reserved for slaves, traitors,” heretics,” and usually the worst of criminals. It became widespread during the reign of Alexander The Great, but it remains in occasional use in some countries.” Even in our modern day, people are crucified. Remember why Jesus Christ died on the cross for our wretched sins, and be prayerful, loving, and kind to each other. Scripture: Matthew 4:1-11
“And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God.” (Revelation 15:2, NIV) Water represents the purification of the body and soul. It symbolizes the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit and blessing. We seek the purified water for the thirsty individual who wants to know Yeshua, not as the mortal God-Man who died on the cross, but as the true Messiah Yeshua, who died as our advocate for all humanity. Yeshua (Jesus) is the only one who could have died for our sins. He desired a mortal man to have descendants that would worship and honor Him as the Creator of the Universe. Father God wanted to experience the pain of sin in our mortal bodies; Yeshua stepped forth and became the proportion of sin, yet did not sin, to obtain an accurate picture of our suffering in sin. Father God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent meaning, present everywhere, all-knowing, all-powerful, never-ending, and loving humanity and HIS created universe. Take time this week to get to know Jehovah God, the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Start with Genesis 1-3 and learn how to live life fully.
It happens when a constant longing questions whether life has more to offer. Even with your accomplishments, you foresee the need for fulfillment. Maybe you think you have achieved nothing: disoriented, tired of life, and fearful of an endless and directionless future. Then you are ripe for Satan to discourage your inspiration for goodness with evil, wicked schemes. You search for answers to other religions and find that they lack that genuine sense of fulfillment. You hear the “still small voice say,” I am here for you, and I will never lie or reject you, for if I reject you, I reject myself, and I will never leave you since I made you from the earth’s dirt.” Whatever you decide to do, be tenacious in your life. Stay focused on positive things, even when you cannot see the positive. Many people worldwide have become successful because they first had the fortitude to forge ahead and become a living example of success despite the odds against them; that is a true testament to Jesus. A Christ-like spirit is a positive approach and the drive to be your best and help others on your journey.
I have discerned through study the few word changes made in the English textual version of the Bible distinguish how we read the Scripture. When transcribed Hebrew, Latin, or Greek is translated to English from the original Hebrew, the language changes its meaning. A Hebrew word in a sentence can mean two to eight different contexts in a sentence. One must look at the entire sentence and Scriptures above and below the sentence you study and pray to get the correct translation. Search for a Hebraic translation in the original language. The committed Christian will seek more knowledge and ask the Holy Spirit to clarify the Scripture. Remember, your pastor or rabbi cannot explain Yeshua’s word in a weekly sermon. You must seek and study the Scriptures to gain truth for yourself. I discovered many verses in the English King James to be different in English than in the Hebrew Bible or Tanakh. Remember that Jews do not have an Old Testament; they refer to their religious texts as the Tanakh, composed of three divisions: Torah, Nevi’im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings). The intent of a sentence will take on a new life if translated correctly from Hebrew to English. I still believe Christians should learn Hebrew when they are younger. Then, the Word of the Holy God gives you a more precise knowledge of His Hebrew Language. Act 17:27
Resurrection Day and Easter is the holiest time for Christians. Remembering Jesus Christ’s sacrifice brings to mind the harpazo (caught up) of saints. John, the Apostle, was in the Spirit (Ruach) “when he heard a loud voice behind him that sounded like a trumpet to write on the scroll what you see.” (Rev 1:10). The voice was Messiah Yeshua telling John to send a message to the seven church communities. These church communities represent church peoples as they worship Messiah Yeshua, who established, rebuked, commended, and encouraged devoted followers to continue living as faithful followers of Him. Armies from the south will march on Israel to eradicate them, but HaShem (G-d in Hebrew) will save His chosen people from Satan. The entire world will be involved in World War III, and millions will die because the time of Harvest of the Grapes has begun for humankind. Based on the Harvest of Grapes’ perspective, both the wicked and the righteous will experience death together. The distinction will be the wicked will go to hell, and the righteous will go to heaven. Why are so many self-proclaimed Christians apathetic, watching the Scriptures unfold and doing nothing to save others from the destruction that is coming? My people are sleeping. Scripture states, “My people are destroyed because they lack knowledge of me. Because you rejected that knowledge, I will reject you as a priest for me. Since you forget the Law of your God, I will also forget your children (Hos 4:6, NIV).”
“And the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.” (James 3:6, NLT) When one thinks of fire, the image of a blazing inferno with scorching flames immediately comes to mind. So, how does fire in a man come about? Why does man return to the earth as ashes, the final stage before dust? Why does the pastor repeat the phrase “ashes to ashes and dust to dust,” at a funeral? God made Adam (Adamah), meaning earth or land, in the Hebrew translation. Genesis 3:19 (NIV) states, “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Also, Ecclesiastes 12:7 (TLV) states, “Then the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” Were we ever “fire” in our flesh before we became flesh? The answer to this question is “yes”; from a spiritual perspective, we are born out of a fire. Almighty God, our Creator, is a flaming, consuming fire. Elohim breathed His breath of fire into Adams’ lungs, the cold clay body became “hot” with blood, and Adam breathed–the breath of life through his body. My question proves we made “hot” spiritually from fire, known as (esh—אש) in Hebrew.
“During those days, people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.” (Revelation 9:6, NIV) What is propelling a man to run from God in these Last Days? The idea of a man fleeing from God has always intrigued and confused me. I know this question does not confound God because He knows all the answers to everything on this Earth. However, we will know all the answers in Heaven with the Father. One thought that has come to me from Almighty God is that our spiritual leaders or pastors are not teaching their congregations the Word of God as they should. They are more concerned with keeping membership than teaching the “End Times” prophecy that all congregations are yearning to be familiar with in these “Last Days on Earth.” “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9, NIV) I must credit messianic rabbis and several pastors who are not concerned about membership numbers but about saving souls; they are teaching congregates to be ready for the great “gathering up” of the Saints. Pastors face a stricter judgment, as scripture states, because men of the cloth lead a flock to preach and teach the entire Word of God, encompassing all books of the Bible, not just the parts they find comfortable. (James 3:1)
What is the “sea of glass”? The scripture says in Revelation 4:6 (NIV), “Also in front of the throne, there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.” Imagine the throne of the “Most High God,” sitting in the Heavens with His Son Messiah Yeshua, on His right side, high and lifted as in Isaiah 6:1. The Prophet Isaiah encounters Messiah Yeshua for the first time. It may come as a surprise, but purifying the human spirit and soul are prerequisites in every instance where man has experienced the supernatural presence of God and Jesus (Yeshua). Before man sinned in the Garden of Eden - Messiah, Yeshua was always our Father because the Triune God knew man would fall. Jesus Christ, the second person of the God-head, became our lamb sacrifice. There will be debates concerning what Isaiah saw and counterarguments about the prophets of the Old Testament, but the Bible always references Jesus Christ in its holy texts. To understand the Father, you must become acquainted with the Son. The Bible tells a great story about three Hebrew men walking in a fire. Scripture revealed, “I see four men loosed and walking about amid the fire without harm…. Our Bible, specifically Daniel 3:25 in the NIV translation, recounts the story of the Hebrew men thrown into the furnace by Nebuchadnezzar for their refusal to worship his idol. The three men were Shadrach (Hananiah), Meshach (Mishael), and Abednego (Azariah), who came out of the fire unscathed without the smell of smoke. The fourth man was the Most High God’s Son, Messiah Yeshua. Nimrod subjected Abram (Abraham) to a scorching furnace for three agonizing days. The ropes binding Abram’s hands burned off. Nimrod was trying to kill Abram because he denied idols in the land and his convictions of the Omnipresent Adonai laws. El Shaddai gave Abram grace and mercy because he was a pious man who followed God’s statutes. After Abram’s encounter with Nimrod, Abram left Ur of Haran and went to the land of Canaan. The fire represents purification and devotion to God. Everyone must be ready to be tested for Messiah Yeshua at any cost - even unto death if necessary. If you die for God, you might be “absent from the body but present with Yeshua” for all of eternity. “Fire represents mesirut nefesh,” meaning ‘self-sacrifice’ in Hebrew. Should we not sacrifice our lives daily to Jesus? He is our Creator, who died for our sins because He loved us so much.
Joel 2:1-2 “Blow the ram’s horn in Zion; sound the alarm on My holy mountain! Let all who dwell in the land tremble, for the Day of the LORD is coming; indeed, it is near. A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like the dawn overspreading the mountains, a great and strong army appears, such as never was of old, nor will ever be in ages to come.” The Day of the Lord is coming soon. When Messiah Jesus arrives, He will reset the world to surrender under HIS authority. We gave away our perfect world to Satan in the Garden of Eden. When our Savior Jesus Christ returns, it will be wrath, not the meek and mild baby Jesus. Jesus will have vengeance against those who don’t want to acknowledge Him as King. He will set up a millennial kingdom on earth and will not tolerate ungodliness in the world to come. Prayer is a powerful force. Prostrating ourselves before Jehovah is the best way to get positive results from Him. Once we allow our Spirit to bend toward the acceptable journey to know Yeshua, we will start living according to the scripture, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God” (Mk 12:34). We are consumed with our “get it now” version of prayer. We rarely wait for a response from Messiah Yeshua; hence, a prayer that is looming in our hearts is never fully answered by God. I am included in this scenario. I have found that we can all have the correct solution to our prayers if we are still and quiet before Almighty God. Being still is so easily stated but very difficult to accomplish in our mortal bodies: this practice takes time, prayer, silence, and consistent yearning. We have too many distractions and in-fighting with our Spirit to do or think about life’s chaos. Being quiet and listening to the Holy Spirit speak to us takes time and tenacity, which we all have none. And yes, the excuses come forth like a wave of water - “we have to do this and that,” neglecting the ultimate goal: silence. Consequently, we return to square one with all the sorrow, frustrations, disappointments, abandonment, discouragement, unfulfilled dreams, and heartache. Romans 1:29 “Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.” What has happened to our world? We are on target as a corrupt world that cares for itself and nothing of God. In Romans 1:28-32, the Bible speaks of the wicked people on the earth. We have become “backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful.” People have “invented new ways of sinning, and children disobey their parents.” Do these words sound familiar today? They ring out the cries of our children, who are disrespectful to everyone. Our adult children are now divorcing their parents. That is absurd. Never in my life have I heard or experienced such craziness. Spiritual forces from Satan are at work, and Satan will not stop until he has more people against God. This battle between Almighty God and Satan started long before the creation of man. Since humans are in the middle of the soul and spirit battle, we must pray and keep our eyes on Jesus Christ. Have we forgotten that our lives depend on Father God (El Shaddai)? We have forgotten who is the sustainer of our lives and who gives us breath every day to live. If the wind stopped blowing today, we would die. We can’t live without oxygen. The Bible states that in the future, the wind will stop. “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.” (Revelation 7:1) This strange event will happen in the future. The angels will put the seal of God on the Saints who didn’t take the mark during the Tribulation. They will receive a white robe, and they will sing around the throne of God. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes. Never again will they cry from pain on earth. (Revelation 7:17) We live in perilous times worldwide and have wars upon wars, and we are tired, but this is only the beginning of the times of sorrow. Jeremiah 33:2-3(NIV) “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Father God had to give Jeremiah a word of truth to let him know what was coming from him. Jerusalem was going to be destroyed by the Babylonians because of God’s wrath against their disobedience and constant idol worship. Jeremiah was God’s mouthpiece, and all the siege ramps Israel built would not keep the Babylonians from breaking through the walls and taking the Israelites into captivity. The same is happening to our country. We have not obeyed the laws of Almighty God, and we are receiving the passive wrath of God for our idol worship of things not of God, but our attention has been on earthly greed. What exactly does it mean to mold and mend a person? “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed” (Psalm 34:18). He tells us in Isaiah 41:10 that He will never forsake those suffering, “Do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God.” In the Bible, mold is a form of punishment, yet our loving Father will always help us when we are suffering and call upon Him to help us in our distress. Therefore, Father God will mold our hearts to accept and hear His voice and our spirit once we accept His son, Jesus Christ, as the living Savior of the world. Two spiritual entities are in play: repentance, the mold, and mending our evil ways to righteousness; then, we can go before the throne of God with a new heart of love and obedience toward our Father. Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Are we in a season where everyone is running away from God rather than to God? We are now experiencing a paradigm shift in our world. In times of tragedy, I have observed that we seldom mention the title of Almighty God as a friend and Savior. Although Father God saved those who deny Him, the survivors believe they are lucky to be alive and will rebuild their lives without acknowledging their Creator. Many prophets ran from God in the Bible, but they found that the running didn’t serve them because God still loved them and put obstacles in their path until they had to yield to the calling of God to get their life back in order. Father God wants a connection with you more than anything, and the only way to get that connection is to stop running and allow our spirit to appreciate prayer, study the word, and engage in an emotional and intellectual relationship with God and our soul. We must merge the two souls, and then we will have a connection with our Holy God. We must repent of our sins and then ask God to lead our lives. So stop running away from God, but run to God and find a life of wholeness. Lk 21;24 Romans 11;25 It is a fact that no one knows when Jesus Christ will return. The Scriptures have been straightforward to be ready every day and live a righteous life. But what does that mean to live a moral life? Webster’s Dictionary states, “acting according to divine or moral law: free from guilt or sin.” The Bible’s point of view: In a deeper spiritual meaning, righteousness is being right in the eyes of our Holy God, which includes our character (nature), conscience (attitude), conduct (action), and command (words). But man sins every second of the day, so how do we get freedom from sin? We must walk in the truth, for our salvation does not mean we will never sin again. We have the choice not to sin, and we have the grace of God empowering us not to sin, but we are still human and imperfect. The apostle John states, “If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar, and his word is not in us” (1 John 1:10). Grace covers us, but we must ask forgiveness when we sin. Jesus’s blood and grace constantly surround us. If we live by Father God’s laws, then when He comes, we’ll be ready to enter the heavenly kingdom and live with Jesus Christ. To find out more. “They were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment and cause them extreme pain for five months; their torment was like the torment from a scorpion when it stings a man. And in those days, people will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die [to escape the pain], but [will discover that] death evades them.” By reading this segment of scripture, a person might think they are reading a Science Fiction story. The Book of Revelation is about Jesus Christ and His revelation of what will come for those who reject His deity. People will want to die when the scorpions come to sting only humans. Most people think Almighty God is wrathful, but they are wrong. We are living in God’s grace period to prepare for His coming back to gather His church. People run from Father God because they want to live their lives with no one telling them how to live. God named the Millennial generation. Because Millennials will live through the Tribulation, they will find themselves at a moment where they will have to make a life choice. Either give their lives to Jesus Christ or die without his love. There is no in-between; once we die, we have two options: Heaven or Hell, as I wrote last week. Our time is short and folks. Please wake up, people, and get your soul and spirit in tune with the universe’s Creator, our Father El Shaddai.
2 Kings 6:17(NIV) “Then Elisha prayed and said, ‘LORD, please, open this eyes that he may see. And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.” Elisha saw a vast army surrounding him, and his servant, the Syrian King, wanted to kill Elisha. The servant was afraid, but Elisha’s strong faith let him ask Adonai to show the servant in the spirit who surrounded them. Once the servant saw the angels, his spirit calmed. A vast army of God’s angels protects us when we call out to him. Father God is always ready to hear from us and talk to us, but most people are too afraid or not interested in talking with God. As our society is falling further into despair, we must pray and look to Almighty God for guidance. A change in our attitudes and lives is necessary to enter the kingdom of Heaven, and Adonai is coming sooner than we think. 2 Thessalonians 3: 2-3 "And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." I love these words, for they comfort me that my Heavenly Father loves and cares for me even when my faith might fail. We have times in our lives when our faith is less than a mustard seed as the Scriptures says: “If you had faith like a mustard seed.” (Luke 17:6a, NIV) It is reassuring to know we always have the love and faith of Jesus Christ with us even when we are weak and forget to pray to our Creator, who loves us more than we could ever imagine. Father God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins so that one day we will be with the Triune God forever. So today, let us remember the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for humanity, and that mission was horrendous, but Almighty God showed us HIS true love for us. True Fellowship What is true fellowship? Where do we find it? Our world became multinational during the Covid lockdown, and folks we interacted with via Zoom or other methods of communication became our community. After the pandemic, we learned that our society was broader than our city or state. Therefore, sharing the word of Jesus became global also, and that kind of community-building is what Jesus proclaimed. Those who spread the message of the Son of God, Jesus Christ, can find true fellowship. The word for a community used in the Christian community is koinonia, which expresses sharing life to a deeper depth with intimacy and an untranslatable relationship with Father Jesus. John the Disciple says, in 1 John 1:3, “We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” (NIV) Seek Jesus Christ today. It might be your last chance.
The Pesach (Passover) holiday begins Wednesday, April 5, 2023, or April 6, 2023, depending on where you are in the world, as it starts at sundown. Chag Same’ach / Happy Passover! Pesach commemorates the exodus of the Children of Israel from brutal slavery in Egypt, as recounted in the biblical book of Shemot (Exodus). Pesach: Pronounced PEH-sahkh: Literally to skip over. While Pesach translates as “Passover,” it does not mean to physically pass over something, but rather to pass [skip] over or omit something in a group. The Passover refers to the skipping over of the firstborn of the Children of Israel, who survived while the other firstborns in Egypt died. However, figuratively, the word is split into two: peh sakh: which literally means “a mouth discusses.” The translation refers to the long discussions about the Exodus from Egypt and today’s celebration as the seder meal. Everyone seeks comfort, peace, kindness, sympathy, and emotional stability. But where is it? Our world was crazy before the pandemic, but our world has imploded. Few people’s souls are seeking Almighty God, and a few are confused and don’t know how to pray and ask for resolution from the Savior. Where are the fire and brimstone pastors I grew up with as a child? Those who knew how to pray, go on a media blitz, and get the country to pray to Jesus Christ? They are too old or have gone to heaven. We have a few fire and brimstone pastors. People reject the fire and brimstone pastors’ message, leaving Christians and non-Christians to seek the correct message from the Father. False prophets mislead folks into hearing false statements when ministering to the flock hungry to find Jesus. Too many church ministers are wolves with false information. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” (Matt 7:15, NIV) As a Christian, I study and read the Bible and double-check what the minister states in their sermon. Take proactive steps to prevent being fooled into the devil’s schemes. “Seek the LORD while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked man forsake his own way and the unrighteous man his own thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.” (Isaiah 55:6-7, NIV)
We live in a day of disasters; our civilization’s upheaval of wicked people, chaos, and unrest is global. If we are not careful, we will miss what Yahweh is screaming with a giant STOP sign. Stop, look, pray, and listen. Almighty God has given us signs that we are not listening to HIM. First came the COVID division of our nation; more viruses are looming on the horizon with our food, and jobs, other countries are devising evil plans to see who has the most armaments, church attendance has gone down, and belief in Jesus Christ has almost become just a mere conversation. Let me say Jesus is coming back sooner than people want to believe. Scripture says HE will return just as he came. Jesus will return. The scriptures state: “Scoffers will come in the last days” (2 Peter 3:3). “They will not endure sound doctrine. … They will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” (2 Timothy 4:3, 4). During this holiday season, we can communicate our thoughts and actions toward each other in a godly manner as Father God intended and not as man has ordained. Therefore, we are to transform our ideas and be cheerful and kind to each other. Scripture says to put away “all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding] and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence].” Ephesians 4:31 (AMP) A complete cleansing of our soul must happen, but for a purified soul, we must have a relationship with Jesus Christ, and that comes when we allow the spirit inside us to control our thoughts. Christmas is much more than purchasing gifts, parties, or family ties. It celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of Jehovah God. Therefore, we must honor the reason for the delivery of Jesus despite the incorrect time we celebrate. Without the birth of Jesus Christ, we doom our lives to hellfire and never see Almighty God’s face. Because our ancestral parents ate of the Tree of Good and Evil, humankind died in the spirit on that day, away from Almighty God. Long before the world’s creation, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit tested man. Man’s longing to be with the Triune Godhead became genuine. Jesus came to Earth as a baby, but He died on the cross. He took upon himself our sins from Adam and Eve until the end of time. Jesus suffered our sorrows and lived among us. Our thankfulness is to repent, love, and declare Jesus Christ as our Savior. Our world is in chaos, and the Bible speaks of the coming famine to hear the words of Jesus Christ. Amos 8:11 says, “The days are coming, declares the Sovereign Lord, ‘when I will send a famine through the land—not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.” The word of God is preached, but not everyone listens to or engages with Father God. You would think after a worldwide pandemic still raging, people would look to Almighty God and repent. However, the opposite has occurred. But folks are back on the rollercoaster of life, forgetting the millions of people who died in the pandemic and how the world closed. We can't find rest or peace in our chaotic world. James 3:6 confirms that our tongues are the problem of “wickedness, corrupting the entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for hell itself sets it on fire.” What a mouthful! The same tongue that gives blessing and honor to Almighty God can scandalize names of people, produce lies and curses, and disregard Jehovah’s laws. What hypocrites we are as God’s global people. El Shaddai loves us so much that HE sent HIS son to save us from ourselves. If we don’t control our tongues, we will fall into the abyss of hell and never return. Father God gives one warning: Repent of our sins and wrongdoings. Then ask for forgiveness from the ones we injured with our poison tongues. Remember, Satan is a metaphysical spirit who fooled Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, and he can deceive you. If you have wronged anyone, go to them and ask forgiveness and set it right before they die. Read James 3 this week.
The book of Jeremiah contains the prophet’s words from God as a warning of the Babylonian invasion. Because the people were wicked in Jerusalem, Almighty God promised to punish the Jewish people in antiquity. The verse about fire in Chapter 23 refers to the lies the people and the false prophets told the nation of Israel that God would not say, ‘He would abandon the Israelites.’ However, the lie survived because the false prophets perverted the words of the living God (v. 36). Those prophets who continued to claim divine oracles were judged (vv. 38-40). So God vowed to cast them away from His presence and all of Jerusalem. But God promised Israel after they scattered to other nations their return in the latter days of the Messianic Age, which we live in today. Almighty God promised to burn up the liars like hay in the coming Messianic Age. Today we hear constant lies. As a baby boomer, I lived in an age where truth was the norm. But today lies prevail; however, people don’t realize that Almighty God will deal with the liars one day, and it will be a day of fire from the mouth of God.
I gave armament coverage about the armor of God over the last several weeks. We need a daily prayer life that includes putting on the full armor by praying for each piece to cover our bodies. For example, say in prayer, I put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the girdle of truth, the sandals of peace, and I pick up the shield of faith and the sword of the spirit. Ephesians 6:3 says, “Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may withstand in the evil day and have done all, to stand.”(NIV) What great coverage when you know Jesus gives us armor to keep us from the devil’s schemes. People forget to arm themselves for daily attacks, and when we fail, we have discord, then bitterness. This week, read once again Ephesians 6:10-20 and remember to cover your body in spirit with Father God’s full armor.
The breastplate of righteousness and girdle of truth are the garments that protest your internal organs like your heart and lungs. Satan comes after your thoughts with the helmet, but if he can get inside your heart with hate and arrogance, then we can fall since this part of our bodies is open to heartache, pain, and quick death. We must be free of guilt and live a divine moral life free from sin. In other words, check your attitude daily and ensure not to harm anyone with your immoral comments and actions. Ephesians 14 clearly states to stand firm and hold your ground with the right integrity and moral courage around your body. If we have all of the armor of God on every day, then we are covered and can withstand the fiery schemes of Satan and his hoards of demons. Read and study Ephesians 10-24. Your life will change. The helmet of the salvation is the portion of the Roman equipment that kept the soldier safe from flying arrows and protected the head from swords when in combat. Today, the six pieces of the armaments are Spiritual garments we must put on to protect us from the devil’s schemes. Ephesian 6:17 states we must “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” The helmet is Father God’s word that is a weapon to keep us from faltering in our faith when the enemy comes against us with his lies. We use Scriptures to fight the devil when he comes and whispers in our ears. The sword is used to fight off the daggers we encounter when our family, job, and friends go against us, and life seems to throw us under the bus. Pick up your Bible, read and pray, and call on the name of Jesus Christ, and the enemy will depart from you for a while. Take time and read the Bible this week.
Every day we dress, and we get ready to go into the world for work. Have you ever considered that you might not be fully dressed for your day? Scripture says be dressed with the armor of God. What is that armor? I will start a series over the next seven weeks discussing the armor of God to fight and how to dress for Spiritual Warfare. Let's start with the Scripture. Ephesians 6:13-17, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:12 indicates a conflict between Satan and man, and we must be ready to follow the instructions given in the verse to withstand the deceptive tactics of Satan and his minions. Remember, Satan is the father of lies.
Every week, churches are filled with folks suffering from anxiety after three years of covid. As believers in Jesus, we are not supposed to worry as unbelievers when they give up and lose heart. However, because of sin, Christians have the same anxiety if we are not connected with our Heavenly Father. I must admit that I sometimes scream inside and get depressed. But once I pray and talk to God, my burdens are lifted. I find a Scripture that comes to mind while I pray, and God gives me the comfort I need to face my concerns. Jesus said we are no longer burdened by our weaknesses and conflicts in this world (John 15:14-16). He also stated that as believers, we must bear one other burden (Gal 6:2). Keep these three words in mind as you go about your day. Awareness – sensitive to others, Acceptance – willing to help others no matter what, and Available – we are to comfort the hurting and help the weak. “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Romans 5:14). A good example of how to be a true Christ absorbed person is to do the steps of Hebrews 10:24-25. We must have the spirit and actions of Jesus Christ. When we surrender to God’s heart and act in a kind and encouraging manner, the triune God endows us with the essence of the Holy Spirit once we join the family of Jesus Christ. Our task on earth is not earthly gratification but to spur others to greatness within the deeds of Almighty God, our Father. We must have a heart centered on doing what is right toward our fellow man and forget the echoes and missteps of those around us who are doing their father’s work, the devil. Let us encourage and love everyone regardless of their race and gender because, to Jehovah God, pure agape love is what we should give to each other without malice. We are in commemoration of Passover. We should contemplate our connections with a power greater than ourselves. The person whom we should acknowledge is Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who will one day judge the globe. The Son of God died so that we, as temporary citizens on earth, enjoy perpetual citizenship in Heaven. Many consider Heaven is a fantasy. Most people believe Evangelical Christians made up the word Heaven, but it’s an actual place. God’s dwelling place is where His throne is, the angels are, and the Lord Jesus Christ is in Heaven. Philippians 3:20 points out that “our citizenship is in Heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” That’s why Jesus announced to the thief on the Cross, “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43). The Scriptures in the book of Revelation tell us God dwells in Heaven, and HE watches and sees everything we do and every thought. So, as ambassadors of Christ, we should speak the truth every day and spread the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone, whether they want to hear it. Time is not on our side; if you have neglected the work required of every Christian to spread the Gospel of Jesus, get to work and make Him proud. Revelation 5.
John 14:13-14 addresses the giving of eternal water to the hopeless people of the world. Jesus gave the water of life to thirsty people walking in sin. Let me say that Christians who have received salvation through the blood of Jesus need help to articulate the Word to others in the world. The gift of salvation is free from Father God, and Christians must stay true to their belief and not fall back into their sinful nature. Unfortunately, today’s world has gone bonkers, and people are turning away from Jesus Christ’s message of salvation. What has happened that we are non-committal to the truth of our Lord? First, we don’t pray unless there’s a crisis, and second, the electronics in our lives have taken us away from reading the Bible and sitting in a quiet place and praying with a heartfelt prayer of forgiveness and repentance. The entities of our world will not give us satisfaction but for a moment. But the water of life with Jesus Christ, meaning the commitment to follow the laws and statutes of God, will last for eternity. Look inside yourself today and find the peace and love of God and humanity. “The water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life. (John 14:14b)
Are you looking to empower your spiritual walk? Then try to pray to Almighty God. Father God has given us tools to help us come closer to Him. He encourages us to unite with Him with the smallest problems before a major catastrophe in our lives. We fail to pray until a crisis emerges in our lives. We pray and ask God to help, and once God’s intervention has resolved the plight, we forget Almighty God was the one who resolved the conflict. As we continue to move forward in our lives that plagues have ravaged and now war, don’t forget to give honor, praise, love, and ultimate thankfulness to Messiah Jesus, who has brought us to the pinnacle of the mountain. Remember, Father God gave maximum power and authority to HIS son, who will judge the world in the future, and it will not be a party but full wrath because of sin. Choose to respect and be a friend of Jesus Christ and let Him lead your life, and when troubles come, you will have an anchor and a friend to help in time of need. A day is coming when we must give an account to God for our deeds while living on His planet. Works are not enough because works don’t pertain to hearts bent away from Almighty God. Soon, a “day of darkness and gloom” (Joel 2:2) will be an actual event. The frightening fact we are so near the end of the church age we will not recognize the approaching dreadful day of the Lord. People must realize their wicked ways will not allow them a free pass into heaven, but access into hell. So, the heart of man must change to righteousness, and the heart must be a repentant heart toward God’s laws with sincerity. We are born into the world with a heart of wickedness against God because of sin; it is our parent’s responsibility to help us learn and grow into a compassionate people of God, who yearns to praise and mature as people of God who profess their love of God and repents of sins. When you want faith with God, where do you turn? Most people go to their friends first, then possibly to a pastor, but Jesus Christ is the last place people want to seek for their faith. Christmas is the season to reconnect your life with Jesus, not Santa Claus. But as I glanced at retail stores and people shopping, I noticed the brick-and-mortar stores and online shopping filled with greedy, rude, angry people grabbing more stuff that will not last longer than a month. Our faith and joy come from deep within our spirit; Almighty God breathed into man when HE created us as mortal beings. Yahweh sent his SON Jesus to unbind the world from sin and back to the Father of Lights, the only light of our soul. Examine Galatians 5:22-23 in the Bible; it states, the fruit of God’s Spirit is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; against such things, there is no law.” As we continue to grow in our beliefs of earthly items, let us look to God and grasp the heavenly gifts Jesus Christ gives freely to everybody who asks HIM to unite their life with Him. People often assume that once they become Christian, their life will be trouble-free from stress and life dilemmas. Being a Christian establishes your way of life in the lime-life of affliction; John 16:33 mentions Christians will experience tribulations, but with Jesus Christ as the head of your life, we will overcome the world. We’re reminded by Peter the Apostle to be ready to face fiery ordeals in the world to test and strengthen our love for Jesus and faithfulness (1 Peter 4:12). We are to encourage each other and be joyous in our ordeal and pray for wisdom, courage, and strength to endure the trials of persecution, as stated in James 1:2-12. Yet, we do not have to travel through time without help and guidance; this is where Jesus comes in, and the blood of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, saves us from our sins. So, with a constant prayer for our sins and faithful obedience and repentance, we will receive guidance from the Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity. “For, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:16 NIV I asked an individual weeks ago did they know who they were in Christ? The answers I received bewildered me because they were worldly and not godly answers. So I decided to take stock of my own life and found I knew who I was in Christ and had a good understanding of my mission, but I too lacked several vital descriptors to explain my connection to Jesus Christ. We have become the people we admire and try to emulate the best of what we view and see in our lives from childhood to adulthood. So we have no idea who we are unless we have done a self-analysis of ourselves as Christians or non-committed folks in general. The world influences us, and we have no idea who we are, so that is why so many people become edgy, irritable, angry, unforgiving, spiteful, disobedient, unholy, and ungodly, to name a few descriptors. What is glass? “It is a solid produced by cooling molten material so that the internal arrangement of atoms, or molecules, remains in a random or disordered state, similar to the arrangement in a liquid.” According to the definition by the Chemistry Encyclopedia. There are four significant strengths to glass. In addition, there are many characteristics of God; we will explore three of them. Just as glass has four types of strengths to endure heat, cold, and water, God requires three conditions: act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before God. (Micah 6:8). How does this tie together, you might ask? First, justify your actions before God to endure the heat of sin that comes your way. Second, love mercy when you know you have done wrong and repent when you hear nothing from God, and he gives you the cold shoulder to answer your prayers. And last, walk humbly in a manner of forgiveness and respect of the Father like the water that tries to penetrate the glass. Still, the solid construction of your faith holds when people humiliate or scandalize your name for no apparent reason. Three main objectives came to mind this week. What did the Resurrection of Messiah Jesus mean to the world? Jesus came to save the world from itself of sin that only a perfect human deity could obtain that had not sinned. We gave control over Lucifer when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree. Ultimately, Adam was to blame for the misstep, yet we have been in a fight from that second to the present. The war is to save our lives from the sinful worldly things that Satan whispers in our ears, such as: play the lottery, go to the casino, take that drug, steal money, lie to people, abuse people, and on and on. How do we revive our spirit? We must daily Mediate, Study, and Pray over the words of Jesus. Find a verse daily, learn it and study the meaning from Greek, Hebrew, to Latin and ask the Holy Spirit to explain the meaning. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to reveal the purpose of the Scriptures and teach us how to be righteous peoples for Jehovah God. Once we rise above the thoughts of being redeemed to being humble before Messiah Jesus, we will be in the correct stance to go before the company of Holy God. Grab a copy of the book.
I woke up this morning with a song on my heart, “The Storm is Passing over” by Charles A. Tindley. The song is probably not familiar unless you belong to a Baptist or Pentecostal Church. The words just expressed my thoughts of our journey as Christians in this Covid plague world. “O courage, my soul, and let us journey on, For tho’the night is dark, it won’t be very long. O thanks be to God, the morning light appears, and the storm is passing over, Hallelujah!” The words reminded me we have nothing to fear, for fear is a judgment according to the scriptures, and we must be ready to meet Jesus when He comes. The year 2021 has taken on a cautious personality, and confusion has set up shop for souls wanting a covid vaccine. We expect every New Year to bring joy, peace, love, and fresh adventures with the help of Jehovah God. I have learned to consider every year; I am alive a special gift from Almighty God and a chance to be a better person and introduce people to salvation through repentance. I study the Jewish holidays and calendar to understand world events and impending crises in the world. The year 5781 in Hebrew means to share or partner up in a general sense, even though other particular elements of the number system (gematria) I avoid. A Middle East peace treaty could happen with the brothers and sisters in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Only time and God knows the actual timing for our unusual season of healing of the world. Father God calls us to listen and read His words, and when we lack the understanding to heed His calling, we fall into a pit of despair. Horrific news of a loved one’s dying or health issues can rob us of our calm demeanor and cause us to worry. Yet Almighty God didn’t put people here on this planet to lose heart and live in darkness. Jesus Christ brought hope and light to dark, dreary lifestyles. His word says, “Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer” (Psalm 4:1), said the psalmist David. The Scripture speaks when men condemn us unjustly; this is our comfort; it is God that justifies; he is the God of a believer’s righteousness. Almighty God alone is the patron of justice, and HE is the one that hears our cries and gives mercy to those who ask for his repentance. As we continue with the world plague as it mutates, let us remember Father God sent His Son Jesus to save us of our sinful ways, and once we believe in Him, we’re saved from our sins. Fear of man has become the prevailing theme today in our life. The engineers in the novel “Exalted Above All Gods” found themselves thrust into the Tribulation and awaiting the second return of Jesus(Yeshua) to set up the Millennial Kingdom. However, some of the group were like the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. They wanted to continue with their earthly lives and not manifest a full faith of holiness. Where some of the teammates displayed a life of holiness after the rapture. I read an article today that mentioned the vegetation on the earth was going to be abundant because of the removal of humans during the lock-down for Covid-19. People were not working in gardens and spraying pesticides on vegetation. Can you image fruits and vegetables that are extra large? We bought apples this week, and they were huge; at first, I thought they were genetically modified, but they were organic. The earth had time to exhale from humans making noise and moving around, destroying the planet. Thoughts of the Garden of Eden floated in my mind and the abundant fruits and vegetables found in Canaan when the Hebrews sought the land God gave them. We offered the earth time to cleanse and become clean again. Covid-19 is killing millions of people, but Almighty God is having HIS say. As I contemplated this Resurrection Sunday, I remembered all my family’s happy times in the past where we gathered and had dinner and prayed. Last year we could not meet because of Covid and this year is no different. Until everyone has gotten the vaccine, we will not gather again. The family concept made me think about Jesus and how HE had missed his earthly family (the twelve disciples) and his immediate family once He arose and went back to HIS Father Almighty God. The significant part of a family is Jesus was never without His Father ever. Where we are without our family members, we will see and touch them soon. Our Bible tells us we will see Messiah Jesus face-to-face one day if we are faithful to the Word of God. The story of the engineers who struggled to keep their faith in my current novel is encouraging because it tells the same account of death and Resurrection. Passover, known as Pesach in Hebrew, starts on Friday at sundown, and I was thinking about why we celebrate this High Holy day in the Jewish and Christian religion. My Jewish brothers and sisters commemorate the Exodus from Egypt and the Jewish nation's birth for eight days (March 27 - April 4). As Christians, we celebrate the same holiday from Palm Sunday to Resurrection (Easter) Sunday (March 28 - April 4). We celebrate the same awaking from sin, slavery, and oppression from the enemy who is Lucifer. Then I thought of how Chapter 2 of Exalted Above All Gods expressed a warning to the souls left to go through the Tribulation on earth and how they struggled with faith in Almighty God. We are struggling to be free of our sins and to become righteous in the eyes of our Lord and Savior daily in our lives. A warning is secretly posed from Genesis to Revelation about the Messiah's coming known as Yeshua/Jesus is close at hand. "For You are the Lord Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods. Psalm 97:9 AMP." Psalm 97 represents two parts; the coming Messiah verses 1-7 and deliverance of the righteous and the demise of the wicked verses 8-12. Chapter 1 of the novel prepares the reader for what will happen to the protagonist in the story as she wanders into the depths of an inquiry with her superiors and terror within her soul. A struggle to enlighten herself with Messiah Yeshua and what He means in her life during the Tribulation causes anguish within her spirit. We often come across people who have faith like a brick wall, and we wonder where they got their faith? Then we encounter folks who let Satan accuse them and remind them that they are not worthy because of past sins and unable to honor God. One of my characters had a strong belief in Yeshua and was committed to aiding a colleague to believe in themselves and Yeshua. Writing this current novel took two years, and it was a labor of love. I tried to give the heroine empathy for her teams’ supervisor, but as I continued to write from the middle of the story, it evolved into a semi-love tale of bizarre hate and passionate love all at the same time.
