Father God knows everything from the beginning to the end and how everything will finish. Yet, we don’t understand that life events will proceed, and we want to fix problems and get our friends and family’s view on situations instead of going straight to Jesus Christ and receiving a divine answer to our obstacles. I know this concept may be difficult to conceive. I have experienced divine intervention daily and deception; however, you will learn to decipher truth from error. But the flesh is not willing, and the spirit in us wants us to be more like Christ, but we disappoint as Paul the Apostle stated, in Matt 26:41 NKJV “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” We all fight this conflict every day, so we must pray when we find ourselves tempted to do what is not right. If we remember we are children in God’s eyes, then we will know what to do.
Just as we teach our children to do something and they don’t do it, then you know your child has disobeyed you, so your action against God is disobedience. There is a consequence when we resist the Father after He asks us to do something, and we figure we can do it tomorrow. We did not obey God, and we concluded we could do the bidding of God at a later time. If our children don’t do what we ask, they’re punished or spanked depending on the offense. The same thing happens to us when we don’t follow God. It is our life that is curtailed from getting the blessings we’re supposed to receive.
Suppose God told you to check out the house you had been praying for today, and you delayed several days; you will lose the opportunity to buy the home God had for you. You are not the only person looking at the house, and God said to see it now, but you delayed. The same scenario will happen to a job prepared for you if you wait and do not interview. The possibility of a delay because you did not listen to the “still small voice” of God is probable. Now you blame God for not getting the job or house, but who is to blame for this disappointment and depression?
You can only blame yourself because you were not listening or waiting (listening to the flesh) and lost the blessing meant for you. It only takes a few minutes a day to sit and be quiet and listen to God. Scripture states, “Be still, and know that I am God!” (Psalm 46:10, NIV). Find a quiet place in your home and spend at least 15 to 20 minutes with God, and don’t say you don’t have time. We have time to post to social media; then, we have time for God. Be quiet and pray and let God know what is in your heart and while you are silent, He will answer your petition. Once you get your answer, thank God and do as He asks you to do, and your life will be more stable. Ask the Father to bless you with His Grace and Mercy every day and to bless your life and pour his “Favor and Prosperity” on your life and not Prosperity of money. But of healing (a contented state of being happy and healthy and prosperous).
What is the Grace? Grace is a noun that means “Christianity, the free and unmerited favour of God shown towards man” — this is what you want in your life.
