JUST THE EDGE OF GOD

Did God not turn his back just once in all eternity on his Son so Jesus could fulfill the sin of humanity? Just think how awful this was for the Creator to have his Son go through the pain and anguish humanity sent him through just for mankind. This is the ultimate Love gift for mankind. Just take a moment and think about this statement. God so loved the world (and loved us so much) He sent His Son to save us of our sins and then had to turn His back on His own Son. So why did the Holy Father turn His back? As He cannot see sin or be a part of sin since Almighty God is HOLY and Perfect. This is what it means to be “beyond the edges of God” when you really think about the gift we have been given and yet we just throw it away daily. Our own selfish concerns of life are so important; God does not enter into the equation during the day or ever for some of us until we are suffering. Then we call on Him and then God becomes an “old shoe” (excuse the pun), we put on when it is convenient for us. Our Savior is not needed by us unless we can make earthly riches whereby, we try to bargain with Almighty God. He is our creator and no bargains can ever be made. Eternity is the ultimate life to have with Almighty God. Since many folks don’t care about their life in the hereafter, then they are missing out on the best God has for his children.

As we go through life, God’s words float through every breath we take and every second of our lives is like musical notes and we just go through life as if it is nothing. We really must think about who God really is. He is the Triune One who made our lives and the universe. We were created to love Jehovah and enjoy life with Him. This did not work out and Jehovah knew this plan of action when He created us. We are God’s creation and our ancestors Adam and Eve had a choice to make when they sinned in the Garden of Eden. A wonderful gift was “free will” to choose to love and trust God or to trust our own desires. We have “free will” today and we exercise it daily. “Free will” should not be taken so haphazardly because Jesus the Messiah had to die for us. He gave everything for us to live either in sin or in righteousness. The only request Jesus made was for us - was to trust and obey the Word of God and to trust and love Him. Father God does not request we follow Him but just trust and believe in Him. It is so important we learn to trust God as this is the mystery of God’s love for mankind. What a wonderful love God gives to us every second of every day. No human on this earth could ever give the love Adonai (God) gives to man. It does not matter what we do in our life, He loves us regardless up to our last breath on earth. He is willing to forgive us of our sins only if, we acknowledge He is Almighty God and ask for forgiveness of our sins with a repentant heart. You can have eternal life with the Triune God. One great example in the Bible is the thief on the cross asks Jesus to “remember me when You come in Your kingdom! And He said to him, truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise (Lk 23:42-43, NKJV).” As you develop an understanding of the Word it is not complex it is so simple a child can understand. But why is it so hard for man to understand? Because he does not want to understand or believe in God and as far as many individuals believing in God, this is just a silly whim of the un-educated man to believe in anything but themselves. Prov 12:1, NKJV says the most profound statement “Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid”. This statement says everything to the un-believer.
