JUST THE EDGE OF GOD

We do not understand that God is just, and He wants a relationship with us. What does this really mean? He wants to love us like no one has ever loved us. Our spiritual being is yearning for something more than we get from this life - we really don’t know where to find the missing link. When we cannot get the love we need from this world then we look for love in all the wrong places this does not include looking to our Creator for love. Deuteronomy 31:6, NASB states, "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you." Father God puts a wanting desire to seek Him out in our Spirit to search for Him which comes from the "pure" love God has for us. God’s love is always there not like you get from mankind. Father God is present, just take time and listen to his "quiet voice" in our Spirit. However, a condition has to be met that is - you have to turn off all noise distractions around you. We can hear God's voice once we are tuned into the quietness around us. You have to tune your own mind into the stillness while you sit quietly and listen - otherwise your mind will tend to wander. Once you learn how to listen, then you can hear Him clearly within your Spirit. This will only occur if you are willing to listen to God in your everyday life. Connection with Jehovah is possible when you “ask” Him to "order your steps" (Ps 119: 133-136, KJV) ordering your life in everything you do. It is a guarantee God will answer you, maybe not like you want, however; He knows what is best, because He created everything in the universe and your life will be in tune with what is righteous and His will. We must follow His ways.

What do we see with our eyes but never see with our hearts? Visualize for a moment a person who is visually impaired from birth. They have a special sense to see the world in a different way than those who are sighted. Those who have never seen the light of day will see nothing, because they have never seen anything. Suppose they had an operation that would give them sight then they would see blurry shadows and soon very bright lights. Finally, they will be able to make-out shapes then see the world as sighted people see. What a miracle to finally see what the visual world sees and how blessed that person will feel with gratitude to the doctors who operated. Let’s look at God’s free gift of salvation through the eyes of Jesus. We see our Lord Jesus Christ in everything that is created, and we see the miracles that are created every day in our world from people being saved from one disaster to another. Before we knew Jesus, we could see nothing very similar to a visually impaired person. Once we find Jesus then the light of God will enter our heart and we will see clearly the ways of God. We must take time to read the Word of God or go to our place of worship to find out more about our Creator, who is just waiting for us to really SEE Him for who He really is, Adonai ("my Lord" in Hebrew). Christians have to look deep within their hearts and ask God to change the old person and become the new person that will be molded to a humble, kind, joyful, courageous, and loving person that can spread the Word of God. A Christian who has godly traits is a brave person and can take on whatever is sent their way. However, prayer is the major component to the success of a strong Christian. Once you are connected with the eyes of God then you can face any obstacle that the Devil will throw your way.
