Do we, as God’s creation, know what God’s words are? Do we move on to the prompting of the Holy Spirit? So many of these questions explained many times in books throughout the centuries. Yet we, as the created creatures, don’t know who God is and how He wants us to act or speak.
The Holy Spirit is so involved with us until we don’t understand how to let Him do His work in us as Christians, Messianic Christians, and Messianic Jews. We don’t perceive our Spirit inside of us belongs to Almighty God. The true ‘essence’ of the Spirit inside of a man is the embodiment of God Almighty. “The spiritual person evaluates everything but is subject to no one else’s evaluation (1 Col 2:15, NIV).” Scripture says, “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh (Gal 5:16, NIV).” “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit (Rom 8:5, NIV).” Our soul is man’s life, character, intelligence, sight, hearing, speech, emotions, and our flesh is the outward tent or covering over the body and the desires (Rom 13:14, MSG). There is an actual reward to be transformed to righteousness through the Spirit, who is inside of us. If we don’t accept righteousness, then there’s warring within ourselves. Paul the Apostle stated, “I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway (Rom 7:9, NLT).” No matter how we try under our flesh, we cannot do what is right, but with Jesus Christ, all things are possible, and we can do what is right.
