Author Biography

Michigan-based author Ardith Arnelle Price writes inspirational books and Christian Apocalypse Sci-fi thriller novels. She has been a lifelong writer since fundamental school, creating supernatural worlds and characters. Ardith Arnelle Price has received outstanding recognition for her book, Looking Through the Sea of Glass, from the 28th Annual Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards in 2020. In addition, Just The Edge of God climbed #78 in the Kindle Unlimited top 100 books in July 2021. Ardith is an accomplished musician, educator, bible studies enthusiast, an avid golfer, information technology, web designer, and studies foreign languages. She lives and works in Michigan with her husband. Ardith is a member of several civic and social organizations: Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., Sigma Alpha Iota Fraternity (Music), American Association of University Women, Civitan International, and Rochester Writers. Pentecost/Shavuot

Pentecost is significant in both the Old and New Testaments. Pentecost is a Greek festival known in the Old Testament as the Feast of Weeks. The Greek word means fifty refers to the fifty days that have elapsed since the wave offering of Passover. A wave offering of Passover—signals the offering that is waved before God at the altar will not be burned, and shows that the offering being waved belongs to God. The Feast of Weeks celebrated the end of the barley, then wheat grain harvest. Pentecost in antiquity signaled the start of the church age. Pentecost is May 28th in the Christian church. Shavuot is a two-day Jewish holiday that falls on the Hebrew calendar dates of Sivan 6–7. Shavuot 2023 begins at sundown on Thursday, May 25, 2023, and concludes at nightfall on Shabbat, May 27, 2023. Then the 10 Commandments are read on May 26, 2023.

Just The Edge of God

Psalm 2:5-6, AMP, “He speaks to them in His deep anger and troubles (terrifies and confounds) them in His displeasure and fury, saying, yet have I anointed (installed and placed) My King [firmly] on My holy hill of Zion.”

The many facets of God displayed in verses 5 and 6, where God speaks with deep anger, whereby he terrifies and confounds the unrighteous. They do not realize the day of wrath is upon them since they are evil, as they with no care to be obedient. They do not know Jesus, the Anointed One, even though He has been here and preached over 2,000 thousand years ago. Evidence of his arrival is on the holy hill in Jerusalem; however, many unbelievers still mock and persecute the righteous sons of God.

God is a vengeful God. He will not let the unrighteous continue to persecute his own for long without striking the enemies of the devil. In Psalm 3:7, AMP “Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.” God has struck down the enemies of the righteous and will always protect His own.
