Ignoring God
Heavenly Father has a mysterious way of communicating with His Creation, and we tend to ignore the words and actions He had set before us. El Shaddai spoke one word to nothing, and Creation happened. I have a revenant fear of Almighty God, and I love His words. He proclaimed a profound statement that has forever pierced my heart. Mark4:12-13 states: “The mystery of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those on the outside everything is expressed in parables, so that,’ they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven.’” Then Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables?” The Scripture means only those dedicated Christians who study the word will understand the deep meanings and mysteries of the Scriptures. If people remain babies to word and never grow, God’s words are nothing to them. As soon as they hear the word, it is snatched away and taken by Satan, Mark 4:15. So we must be careful and grow in stature, wisdom, and spirit to hear, repent, and obey Almighty God, then we will not ignore His message of Salvation for the world. Just The Edge of God
Do you realize you have all the tools required to receive the voice of God? We only tune into God’s Spirit when a situation has taken us into the pit of despair, and then we call on God. Even if we are in tune with the Lord, we ignore to listen to Him talking to us in a ‘whisper’ because we let life’s daily tasks take over our lives, and many times we forget to pray and thank God for our existence. The Scripture (Job 26:14, NIV) states, “And how small a whisper we hear of HIM.”
God does not speak in a booming voice but a whisper when speaking to us as an individual, just like the whisper Elijah heard from the mountain cliffs after running away from Jezebel. (1Kgs 19:12, KJV) “And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; after the fire a still small voice.” The Tanakh (Torah) version has a distinct English language translation to interpret what the Scripture writer received from the Holy Spirit.
In verse 11, “And He said: Go out and stand in the mountain before the Lord, Behold! The Lord passes, and a great and strong wind splitting mountains and shattering boulders before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind, an earthquake-not in the earthquake was the Lord.”
