A synagogue official came and bowed to Jesus and asked him to heal his daughter that had just died. In Matthew 9:19-20, NIV “and Yahusha (Jesus) arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him and touched the hem of his garment. Immediately she was healed, and Jesus felt power leave HIM.”
So what was the power?
“You are the God who does wonders; you have declared your strength among the peoples (Psalm 77:14, NKJV).”
“God has spoken once, twice I have heard this: that power belongs to God (Psalm 62:11, NKJV).”
“But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases (Psalm 115:3, NKJV).”
God’s power has always been infinite. Since Jesus is God in the flesh, then Jesus brought the power of healing with Him from Heaven. So He had to go away alone to rest and pray to Elohim HaAv (God the Father). The energy from God fills you with heat and love that is not expressed in human words, but you grasp the fire, and it fills your spirit and soul. Power from God is tender and loving, and you know something miraculous has happened to you beyond explanation.
Jesus is so wonderful. He gives us unconditional love. And we’re blessed that the powerful love of God can bring love to your spirit and your soul. It is a new, fulfilling, all-consuming happiness that sends pure joy and love thorough out your entire being. For example, the woman who had a hemorrhage in her body felt the energy leave Jesus and enter her body. She knew if she would touch the tassel on Jesus’s garment, then He would heal her disease. To touch Jesus, even his clothing, would mean healing if you truly believed. She had heard about Jesus and knew he had healed many in the surrounding area. She had been suffering from bleeding for twelve years, but the strength to reach out in faith made her whole after touching the fringe of Jesus’ garments, and the bleeding stopped. What a blessing and a testament she had for others who had weak flesh.
