Touching God’s garment in the Spirit will take the healing power from God into your soul and spirit. It will give healing to the one who is searching to find Father God. Then ask for repentance and display belief in the Son of God. The act of searching and seeking to have a relationship with Jesus is a real, willful act on the seeker’s part. When you look for God, you will find He has always been with you. He wanted you to have an intimate relationship with Him and acknowledge Him. Once you reach out and touch God in the Spirit, you will never be the same. You will become a changed person. To know God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit will complete you as a person. For your entire life, this act of love from God is what humanity has been seeking. The peace and love you find from Jesus Christ is like nothing you have ever experienced on this earth. Jesus came to “set the captives free from sin,” meaning to set us free from ourselves in our sinful nature. Our task is to believe (have faith) in Jesus the Son of God and be healed and set free from our sorrows, heartaches, and anguish. (Lk 4:18, NKJV) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has anointed me to tell the good news to the poor. He has sent me to announce release to the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set oppressed people free.”
Everything we do is from God. Therefore, He sent Jesus His Son, so we would learn to understand His will, way, statutes, and commandments. We can learn to love each other as it was first intended before the Fall of Man. Our existence was to worship the Trinity — the growth of humankind and rule earth. But we gave away our inheritance to the devil, and our perfect life on earth canceled. In the divine wisdom of Almighty God, He knew we would fail because the devil was already lurking around the universe waiting for the chance to fool God’s creation. Remember, Adam and Eve had never experienced evil or deception before, and they both fell hard because they had “free will” to obey or disobey. The devil’s assault; successful on purpose. And so, the unstained garment of Jesus is so important. It represents the purity we welcome when we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior who will wipe away all tears from our eyes according to Isaiah 25:8, NIV “He will swallow up death forever.” Therefore, the power we receive from the touch of His garment will give us the needed healing for the world, then pass on the message of salvation given by Jesus, our Savior.
There has been much speculation about a large piece of cloth known as the “Shroud of Turin.” Could this piece of fabric be the actual burial cloth of Jesus? They have not proved this garment to be the real burial cloth of Jesus. I have an honest opinion about the “Shroud of Turin” and consider that it might be the real cloth because no one has definitively dated it. It might be the actual burial garment. After attending the exhibit in Michigan, I am quite skeptical of the evidence regarding the nationality and blood found on the cloth. Jesus was born in the Mediterranean area where the blood would have been type A because of the people’s diet and not B type. Jesus would have had a darker complexion and curlier hair because of his Jewish nationality. Anthropologists make mistakes in their theory regarding ancestry, especially for people in the Middle East. Would it be possible that God in all His divinity would leave us a clue to His tormented anguish through a piece of burial cloth and leave a photo image for humankind to find in the last days? I have had the pleasure of seeing the “Shroud of Turin” exhibit. I observed from seeing the exhibition that no one has deciphered how the burned image of the man in the cloth got there. The actual blood stains from the beatings exposed a considerable amount of blood on the fabric that led me to theorize the man suffered from immense pain.
