Did the disciples take the remnant garment or was it the Pharisees and Sadducees? I tend to think it was the Pharisees and Sadducees since they wanted to make other Jews believe Jesus was not the promised Messiah and He did not rise from the dead but was stolen by the disciples. Jesus was the promised Messiah even-though many of the temple priests did not believe in Jesus. Many Pharisees came into the knowledge to believe in Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) before His death and after His death on the cross and resurrection. Satan was on duty to make an accusation and denial that Jesus had been raised from the grave so that many would fall into his trap and become his subjects. An article appeared in “Israel Today Magazine”, April 2007, it mentioned the name of Rabbi Kaduri Yitzhak who wrote a note on a piece of paper and proclaimed Yehoshua, or Yeshua (Jesus), is the Messiah before he died and asked for it not be revealed until after his death. The Jewish Orthodox son of the Rabbi said it was not his father’s handwriting and it was blasphemy to state that Jesus was the Messiah. People who were close to the Rabbi definitely said the handwriting was Rabbi Kaduri.3
