Robotic Beings snatched and dragged her into a pod. The shock from the electronic current stung and neutralized her torso as it penetrated her skin. Puffs of frosty air caressed her body as the steel brace support latched her in place. Becky peered through the curved glass to certify other individuals nearby. Her extremities ached from the electrical jolt. She gasped in horror at the sight of thousands of individuals squashed in aligned bubbled chambers as they appeared to be asleep. A lanky grey blue-eyed creature staggered and clanged toward her. It pushed a button to release a grey mist. She gagged and inhaled the poisonous gas into her lungs before she succumbed.
A voice murmured in her subconscious. “FOOL! Save this one and transport her to earth. The snooping will end tonight.”
“Did you locate her friend?”
“Yes, Master.”
“Where is he?”
“He got away.”
“For negligence, death!”
A red-light punctured the forehead of the creature, and it tumbled onto the floor.
