The Scripture in Revelation 15:2 speaks of a literal “sea of glass” that has “fire” yet crystal clear, and Saints with harps in their hands singing, to Almighty God for His goodness and praising His Holy name; because they believed in Messiah Yeshua (Messiah Jesus) until death and into eternity? How can anyone read this scripture and not get goosebumps and feel the fire of God and His awesomeness? How beautiful this scripture reveals God’s love and passion for humankind. He wants all men to come and live with Him. This is why, He created the earth so that we could live with Him and experience the beauty that He so painstakingly created, nurtured, and breathed His breath into all creation to partake and enjoy.
There is another side to Elohim Adonai (Almighty God). He is not a man like we are, and trying to fool Him can lead to death quickly. This happened to Ananias and Sapphira in (Acts 5:11, NIV) “Great fear seized the whole church and all who heard about these events” they kept back monies destined for the Christian cause, and then they lied about their sin. God is everywhere with eyes watching your every move 24/7, never sleeping. In Proverb 15:3 (NIV), “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Watching the evil and the good.” Therefore, we cannot escape Almighty God’s hand, and we must be extremely careful how we perform our daily tasks because the Holy Spirit is actively taking notes.
Let’s look at how we can get to the “sea of glass” in Heaven - what will be the steps you have to take to secure your Heavenly home?
What is the “sea of glass”? The scripture says in Revelation 4:6 (NIV), “Also in front of the throne, there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.” Imagine the throne of the “Most High God”, who is sitting in the Heavens with His Son Messiah Yeshua on His right-side, high and lifted up as in the Isaiah 6:1? The Prophet Isaiah encounters, for the first time, Messiah Yeshua. Believe it or not, every time there has been an encounter with God, whereby man has encountered Jesus (Yeshua), the spirit and soul of man have to be purified. Before man sinned in the Garden of Eden - Jesus (Yeshua) was always our Father because the Triune God knew the man would fall and Yeshua would become our lamb sacrifice. I know there will be theological arguments on - what Isaiah saw and rebuttal about Old Testament Prophets; however, the Bible speaks of Jesus Christ throughout the sacred Scriptures.
