God wants all of his children to know who He really is and to know that everything we have has been created for us to enjoy on this earth. We are to enjoy life through God’s loving hand and not forget about God. When we start to worship the things of the earth and stop worshipping God then we are into sin and idol worship. "Who can endure the day of His coming? (Malachi 3:2, NIV).” No one can endure the Lord’s fiery appearance when He returns to judge the earth. Yet we think that we can "run" or fight God who is the Creator of the universe and us. We don't want to believe in God and just as soon as something peaks our interest and looks good to our eyes we are on to anything but holiness. Those earthly materialist things we idolize will send us straight to Hell. This is why is it important to "touch” the hem of Jesus’s garment who is the Son of God. Allow the Master to flow though us and not the deceiver who is Satan. The deceiver stands waiting and taunting us to do wrong. Satan does not care as long as he can plant ungodly thoughts in our minds. Then he knows that soon our minds will go back to the wrong things unless we are constantly praying and thinking of godly things. Scripture has written "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Eph 6:12, NIV).” These forces are in the second Heaven where the evil one resides and rules the air.
There are three parts to Heaven. The earthly atmosphere is where we reside and we see the clouds and birds fly this is called the first Heaven. (Genesis 2:19; 7:3, 23; Psalms 8:8, NIV) The area where the Sun, Moon, Stars, and other planets reside is the second Heaven known as outer space. (Deuteronomy 17:3; Jeremiah 8:2; Matthew 24:29, NIV) Then the area above the great “firmament” is where God and the Holy Angels reside and we do not have access to this Heaven in our mortal bodies. This is known as the third Heaven. (Deuteronomy 10:14; 1, Kings 8:27; Psalms 115:16; 148:4; 1Kings 8:27, NIV)
The mere voice of God is enough to make you sit up and take notice because it is a voice that you will not forget when He speaks to the masses. When God speaks to you individually, He uses a soft voice. The voice of God will not be mistaken for another voice. When God speaks He speaks with authority to convict your heart. “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me (Jhn 10:27, NIV).” The voice of Satan is a constant ring in your ear that will not go away. You will have to pray it away and still it will come back with a sneer of guilt if you yield to the voice. Your Spirit will question the prompting of Satan because it will leave you with many questions or uncertainty in your being. When you touch the hem of Jesus garments then you are changed from the inside out and you will know that the voice that is constantly rattling in your ear is not that of Jesus. Not that you will never sin again, but you will start to know the difference in the voices and begin to obey Jesus. You will know when you are sinning and you will start to correct your evil ways. Immediate repentance is eminent and then you can go on and do God's work but try not going back to your old ways. Not that you will not be tested, but work at it and ask God to help you so you will not commit the sin again.
