The woman who touched Jesus could only give “praise to the Lord, the God of Israel” (v.68) because of the infirmity she had for 12 years gone. So a miracle from God happened at once. But also breathtaking to know “just a touch” of the fringe on the bottom of Jesus’s garment allowed the woman’s faith to expand.
If we as humankind believe in the Son of God, then we can repair our broken lives. Just akin to what Jesus said to the woman, at the well, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life (John 4:14, NIV).” This revelation was hard for me to understand at first.
Now, I appreciate the significance of this phase in my life. You must look deep within yourself and find the meaning of the “water,” the purity of living the life God ordained us to live without sin and stay faithful and not sin daily and have the forethought to think there’re no consequences from your sin. Water is the purity and cleansing in your life.
