The engineers in the novel “Exalted Above All Gods” found themselves thrust into the Tribulation and awaiting the second return of Jesus(Yeshua) to set up the Millennial Kingdom. However, some of the group were like the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. They wanted to continue with their earthly lives and not manifest a full faith of holiness. Where some of the teammates displayed a life of holiness after the rapture. At this moment we are awaiting the coming of Jesus Christ to rapture those of us who are truly eagerly watching for the return and have a desires to be less sinful and wicked and full of the fruit of the Spirit. (Galatian 5:22). We must keep our oil burning and fall back into the worldly sickness (the foolish virgins). Be ready at all times because at any moment the LORD will come when you don’t expect. Becky recalled her parent’s warnings before they vanished from the earth. ‘Your relaxed manner will someday be your downfall.’ Early one morning before sunrise, her parents were “caught up” or raptured to heaven. She thinks of the incident when people disappeared three and one-half years ago. Graves opened, and individuals who identified with Jesus departed.
Heartbreak, anguish, anger swelled in her heart. Becky’s life changed before her eyes in a moment. She relived the sleepy walk to get water and approached the kitchen, and then she met her Dad in the hall. She remembered she glanced at the clock; 3:00 a.m. — still dark outside, and the entire house glowed. A dazzling light shone on her Dad, and then he vanished. She recalled a teary-eyed scream, “Dad, Dad!”
