“…a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come.” (Joel 2:2, NIV)
The “day of darkness and gloom” will be a real event in the near future. The frightening fact; we are so close to the end that we will not recognize the approaching dreadful day of the Lord. “Look up and see Yeshua is coming in the clouds and every eye shall see Him (Rev 1:7, TLV).”
There will be dark menacing clouds, descending from Heaven frightening mankind, our time here on earth will be up, no more chances to repent and live for Yeshua. We are on the verge of an epoch change in our lifestyles, as “time” swiftly moves us to each approaching New Year. Lifestyles will be so radically changed that you will not recognize the coming storm with darkness and dread. We see lifestyles changing daily, as we live in a world of violence, tumultuous evil against everything and everyone. We are on the precipice of the end of the “Church Age,” the start of “a day of darkness and gloom” known as the Tribulation.
Salvation can only be found through Yeshua, who resides in people who have given their lives to Christ. A transformation from the old self to a born-again person can be achieved; however, evil is lurking at the door, repent before “time” is up, and the choices will be for Messiah Yeshua or Satan. Once Satan starts his vengeful reign, Gentiles and Jews will be his first victims of choice to devour. Weeping and whaling will be the anguish of mankind. Millions of people will die because the uninformed people who receive all of their news from social media will believe Satan’s lie. Who can stand against Almighty God and His wrath when He comes to destroy mankind? Idol worship is at an all-time high around the world. Shopping in stores for worthless items and worshiping modern technology, which God gave the man, has aroused God’s anger once again, as it was with the Jews (who were known in ancient times as Hebrews) who prostituted themselves to Ba’al.
John, the Apostle, was in the Spirit (Ruach) when he heard a loud voice behind him that sounded like a trumpet, to write on the scroll (Rev 1:10) what was being shown to him. The voice was Messiah Yeshua telling John to send a message to the seven church communities. These church communities represent all church peoples as they worship Messiah Yeshua, who established, rebuked, commended, and encouraged devoted followers to continue living as faithful followers of Him. Armies from the south will march on Israel; to annihilate them, but HaShem (G-d in Hebrew) will save His chosen people from Satan. The entire world will be involved in World War III, and millions will die for the time of Harvest, of the Grapes has begun for mankind. The Harvest of Grapes means that the wicked and the righteous will die together. The difference will be the wicked will go to Hell, and the righteous will go to Heaven.
