Bublish has integrated Facebook Comments into book bubbles! This is an exciting new feature that will encourage conversations between authors and readers and help spread those conversation to a wider audience.
Using this new feature, authors can talk directly to their readers right through their book bubbles. With a single check in the bubble, everyone who participates in the conversation — both readers and authors — can post the thread to their personal or fan pages on Facebook.
If a great conversation bubbles up, authors can even embed these conversations — complete with a link to the book bubble — right on their websites where even more readers can join in. It only takes a few clicks.
Authors, here’s a quick TUTORIAL on how the Facebook Comments feature works:
STEP ONE: Sign into your Facebook and Bublish author accounts. Find the bubble that you want start a conversation around and click “comment on this bubble.”
STEP TWO: A pop-up window will open to let you post your comment. In the bubble below, a couple of readers are asking the author questions. All comments will travel permanently with the book bubble so that new readers can view them or join the conversation.
STEP THREE: When the author makes a comment, he or she can check “also post on Facebook” and then select their personal or fan page using the “change” function next to “posting as…” Here’s what the post will look like on a reader or writer’s Facebook timeline:
To embed this post on your website, click the down pointing arrow on the upper right-hand side of the post. A drop down menu will appear, and one of the options will be “embed.” If you click this option, a pop up will appear with some code in it for you to copy and paste to your website.
