Drops of Sunshine
Seeing Jacob on the sidewalk, I fought the urge to ask him about what Brittney had said. Surely she was exaggerating. He couldn’t believe people could read minds, right? I’d only known Brittney a week. Perhaps she was playing some elaborate prank on me. Sara had said Brittney was sweet, but it was obvious the two weren’t very fond of each other. I didn’t know Sara any better than Brittney though. Being new sucked.
