Benito looked up at Grandfather. “You found your stream, didn’t you, Lolo? Can’t you just tell me where you found it?”
“You know it doesn’t work that way, Nito,” he said with a smile. “You have to find your own stream. Not everyone’s stream is the same. Like you, I had a dream of it, of being immersed in it. I knew it was more than a dream. It invited me in, and I became one with the stream. It is your search, Nito, and the act of searching will eventually lead you to your stream. The stream you encountered in your dream.”
“What about Solomon?” Benito asked.
“What about Solomon?” echoed Grandfather.
“Well, he sought after God, and God asked him directly what he desired, and Solomon asked for wisdom. Can’t I just ask God for wisdom?”
