Brandy got up to go put the kettle on. “Just not too many people, guys. It’s more fun if we keep it small.”
Brandy groaned in disgust as she turned the water on. The water was black and thick like goo.
“OMG! We need to get the landlord up her to fix this,” she said loudly.
Ben bolted into the kitchen. “What’s the matter?”
Brandy pointed to the water flowing from the tap, now running clear and quite normal.
“I swear it was disgusting a second ago. It was black and thick, and maybe I imagined it,” she said. She let out a sigh. “I feel like I am losing it somedays.”
