Her smile was soft and happiness was drawn all over her face as she watched the beautiful animals run across the field. Michael let out a sigh, he couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Katie stood up tall and looked around, the hair was standing up on the back of her neck. It felt as if she was being watched, and it made her sick to her stomach. She looked around to see if she could make sense of the feeling but couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, she turned and ran towards the house.
Michael watched as Katie turned looking around, then darting towards the house. She was elegant when she ran, he had never seen anything so beautiful.
Katie shut the door and locked it, her back up against the wall as she tried to catch her breath. She lifted the curtain a little to have a peek around but saw nothing.
