You may be perimenopausal. You may be post-menopausal or long beyond. You may be every color. Every height. Every size.
But whatever your situation, remember three things:
1. There are people in your life who want to connect with you. If you are eating beyond the point of feeling full, hopelessly preoccupied with dieting, compulsively shopping, drinking (or fill in the blank) to take the edge off, that will keep you from connecting and being available for them indefinitely.
2. You will experience feelings when your hormones shift. You will experience feelings for the rest of your life. They might not be as strong as mine. They might be much stronger. Let them come. Welcome them. Embrace them. They will pass and you will be better off for having embraced them. I promise. Whatever you are facing in your life right now, the power to overcome it is within you.
