On the boy’s good side though, he had known the family -and court- gossip. And by knowing it she meant that she didn’t think there was anything that had gotten by him since the day of his birth. Not only that, Cal had promised to write down all he knew and give it to her for future use – he had also mentioned having information that others had collected over the years. And she would most definitely have use for it. And while that made for a lot of reading –of which she wasn’t fond – it also gave her another advantage – those she could use. So for the sake of knowledge Bridgit would force herself to read all that came her way. No matter how much material that proved to be.
From what Cal had told her Bridgit had come to the conclusion that he had some of the best sources in the world. It was either that or he had some of the mage talent in him. Bridgit visibly shuddered at that thought. Because if Cal had even the tiniest talent than she may be forced to disown him. Either that or let the mage deal with him. Now that sounded like a plan. Why it would solve two problems at once if that were the case.
