In the artistic world, it is those literary creations that demonstrate a measure of personal growth that magnifies those hurdles conquered - from darkness to survival, even her release from incarceration. While growing and blossoming, she has maintained a healthier lifestyle . . . staying free of unhealthy relationships. Through her experiences, Norstrom has encountered a complete metamorphosis ─ releasing one identity for another. Living inside this transitional lifestyle she states, “I see myself as that long-blooming, rich flower waiting to attract those butterflies. It is there, I’ve come full circle having realized the dangerous effects of toxicity."

Calgon, #calgon take me back to those tender young years, when life was but a dream. May not have had many of ‘em there #toys to play with . . . as most kids would. But it was sho’nuff fun being one of those kids and living in a kiddy body, exposing a kiddy mind, and having a kiddy spirit. Life then was oh so grand. Gee, I almost forgot what childhood was like but remembering now . . . as kids we had . . . There's more to be exposed - coming spring 2016.

She had a whole trunk of toys and books and didn’t mind sharing. There were Raggedy Ann and Barbie dolls, a tricycle, tea sets, a slinky, blocks, peg boards, puzzles, Fisher Price stuff, a Rubik’s Cube, tons of stuffed animals, board games, a toy phone and vacuum cleaner, a huge collection of storybooks, an Easy Bake oven, and some of everything else. Before she had a playmate, she’d had imaginary friends or dolls—at tea parties, sipping and chatting, or bathing and feeding them. Sometimes she’d even read to them.

When she wasn’t playing with imaginary people or dolls, . . .

“Ring, ring.” She picked up her toy phone and said, “Fo’ yew, . . .”
