Have you ever said what you will never do? Well, never say never. This author has, and she has since retracted those words.
The author, Nina Norstrom, grew up in a small suburban town outside Chicago, Illinois. She received her bachelor’s degree from Concordia University. Norstrom is a member of AuthorsDen, The Author’s Club Blog, Goodreads, Bublish Authorpreneur, and the American Cancer Society
Cancer Action Network, among others.
Norstrom began writing in 1992, but it wasn’t until 2010 that she was able to publish The Big C: A Weapon of Death. There’s a bit of history behind that.
“The hardest part was coming up with a title,” she says. “Before it ever took form, other names were given. These were titles like Triumph of a Trooper, Only Those Who Suffer Know, and You and I Against the World.”
Several unsuccessful attempts were made to release the story, but the author never gave up—even when the rejection letters flowed in.
This second edition is another achievement. To her readers, she gives a word of advice: never surrender your mission.
