During these next two months, I knew I had to be strong for the both of us, especially with graduation just three months away. This was another obstacle, but I continued to hold back my tears. China would never see that side, but it wasn’t easy pretending things were okay.
As a caregiver, these are the words of advice I’d give anyone: Remain strong and never let them see you cry. But if you must, cry behind closed doors.
