DETAILS ABOUT THE JOURNEY
Why is the topic so important?
What we do in our everyday experiences brings about important life lessons. We’re living inside the topic each day we inhale anew breathe. In These days and times, toxicity has settled in the environment. Just think about it: every day we wake up we’re on the battlefield fighting a war. And just feeling where there’s: good against evil; sons against fathers; daughters against mothers; nations against nations; drugs against diseases; and the list goes on and on.

Over three decades, Norstrom has unmasked the levels of relationships:
pain; abuse; emotions, diseases; work environments; trauma;
and its poison of unforgiveness. In the artistic world, it is those literary creations that demonstrate a measure of personal growth that magnifies those hurdles conquered - from darkness to survival, even her release from incarceration.
While growing and blossoming, she has maintained a healthier lifestyle . . . staying free of unhealthy relationships. Through her experiences, Norstrom has encountered a complete metamorphosis ─ releasing one identity for another. Living inside this transitional lifestyle she states, “I see myself as that long-blooming, rich flower waiting to attract those butterflies. It is there, I’ve come full circle having realized the dangerous effects of toxicity."
Part Two of Three
Coming from 2017 to 2018 . . .
We lose the ones we love. Sure, they may be gone forever, but their #memories are embraceable!
This past year, many have sat back and watched the #angels take their love ones home. Some many have been taken through the hands of toxicity and others of natural causes.
As parents, it was our duty to nurture and protect. When things go awry and out of our control, we become helpless. Truly, that pain (at times) can be too much to bear. My prayers are with each and every family that has experienced this lost. Taking the journey into 2018 (without your love one), may your days be filled with peace. Yes, it is can be very hard to say goodbye!

Not a Blueprint: It's the Shoe Prints That Matter
There we sat listening to Linc as he sang and played his guitar to that well-known funeral melody, “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.” This beautiful piece was originally recorded by G. C. Cameron. Now with Linc singing it, his vocals rocked the church. The lyrics alone are so electrifying and meaningful. Linc started out the song by guitar-picking for just a bit. His approach at the beginning of the song was very gentle. And he sang in a genuine and contagious manner, being on key with every note. I felt an emotional and powerful connection. I couldn’t help but wrap my heart around its lyrics, even when he held onto a note. With my eyes softly closed, tears rolling down my checks, and my body rocking right to left then left to right, the music drew me in. Sitting there listening to every word, every single line, and every vocal note, I was being taken on an emotional high ride. As the melody flowed, I sank deeper into the words of the song. The tone of his vocals was nothing less than breathtaking. I didn’t ever want him to stop singing. It was truly an elegant and appropriate song. And I knew I had found solace through its lyrics.
