In the artistic world, it is those literary creations that demonstrate a measure of personal growth that magnifies those hurdles conquered - from darkness to survival, even her release from incarceration. While growing and blossoming, she has maintained a healthier lifestyle . . . staying free of unhealthy relationships. Through her experiences, Norstrom has encountered a complete metamorphosis ─ releasing one identity for another. Living inside this transitional lifestyle she states, “I see myself as that long-blooming, rich flower waiting to attract those butterflies. When that #toxicity grabs you on the inside, there’s little time to let go of the hurt. The mindset is ready for a good fight or flight role. And life seems rather simple when all you want to do is strike out or find a way to strike back. There isn’t anything thing nice you can say about toxicity. Only that toxicity can be a cruel animal. So when it attacks, you best step away before it spew those #venoms in your direction.

When it was over, my actions made the statement: You tortured me; I’ll torture you back.
As it happened, my mindset switched into fight or flight mode. It was the thought of his abandonment during my pregnancy and China’s birth; his cruel words, his lying, and his cheating ways. Thinking of all the wrong and unjust things he’d done, and what he might do in the future. Just envisioning Craig scorched by those blazing flames—that was my state of mind at the moment.

Craig’s clothing meant a lot to him. I assumed all the clothes burnt were Craig’s. But the twist was that they weren’t even his! Craig had been borrowing his brother Rondale’s clothes. It’s not a good thing when women have vengeful moments—but when we do, watch out! We’ll go into a rage and retaliate.
