The truth is all diets work. What doesn’t work is us. If we were willing to stay on any diet for life we would retain the loss. But no, after a successful diet we prance around for a minute in our smaller clothes and then, eventually, fall back into our old eating patterns.
Boom, The weight is back and more.
When I went on the Keto Diet in the 1970s, I lost all the fat on my body. I was down to bone structure. My knees clanked together when I slept.
The minute I went back to my usual life, didn’t follow the diet strictly, I gained all the weight back.
