The human body has a carefully guarded secret. In adults the percentage of your body made up by water is 55% in a female, and 60% in a male.
The percentage of your body that is bone is roughly 15%. In heavier people the bone mass is denser. The cause is similar to why baseball players develop very thick wrist bones from the weight of the bat. A heavy person develops more bone density to support the additional weight the body has to carry.
In a body at a healthy weight, if 55 to 60 percent of your body is water and 15% of your body is bone then that leaves approximately 25% that should be skin, muscle tissue and organ.
Let’s look at that, what it seems to indicate is that in order to be healthy, of 100%, we need 75% water and 25% food per day. This explains a lot. For the majority of my life I have been having approximately 5 to 10% water and 90% food. What has been your pattern?
