Matthew 9:36
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless like sheep without a shepherd.
Beloved: Lord, I often feel confused and helpless. Those I serve sometimes feel the same way. Friends I share with, as well as family, also seem to be floundering. Thank You that in Your mercy, You respond with compassion, not accusation or reproach.
Lover: Yes, I see the struggle and floundering in a sea of problems and indecision. I do have compassion and reach out to others and to you. Take the hand I offer; let Me lead you to the path of peace. I have a plan for you, a purpose and a clear direction. Having floundered, you will have compassion for others and can help lead them into paths of security, confidence, and the joy of living in My love.
8 The LORD is good and decent. That is why he teaches sinners the way they should live. 9 He leads humble people to do what is right, and he teaches them his way. 10 Every path of the LORD is one of mercy and truth for those who cling to his promise and written instructions.
(Psalm 25:8-10, God’s Word)
