Colossians 1:11-12
We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father.
Beloved: These represent the two areas I wanted to work on this year: recognizing my emotions and expressing gratitude. You are helping me with both. Thank You.
Lover: Yes, the emotional barrier is eroding away. If it disappeared too quickly, you wouldn’t know how to handle it, so it is coming apart bit by bit. Keep as a goal to express your gratitude. People are blessed to hear praise and sincere thanks. And it is good for you, too, to give them. These are important signs of growth. Be encouraged. I’m still at work in you.
21All the Israelites present in Jerusalem celebrated the Passover (Feast of Unraised Bread) for seven days, celebrated exuberantly. The Levites and priests praised God day after day, filling the air with praise sounds of percussion and brass. 22Hezekiah commended the Levites for the superb way in which they had led the people in the worship of God. When the feast and festival—that glorious seven days of worship, the making of offerings, and the praising of God, the God of their ancestors—were over, the tables cleared and the floors swept, 23they all decided to keep going for another seven days! So they just kept on celebrating, and as joyfully as they began.
