I am grateful for the help of many people for their support, encouragement and insight that has brought this book from an idea to a reality.
Many, many, many thanks to:
• Dr. Willem Lammers, who told me a book was needed to introduce Logosynthesis to people outside the professional community that was written in accessible and non-academic language and then asked if I would write it. As a newly certified Basic Logosynthesis Trainer I was honored that my expertise in translating complicated concepts into accessible language was being recognized. I appreciate his support and encouragement throughout every phase of this project.
• Dr. Jonathan B. Weiss, my husband since 1960 and business partner since 1972, for reading every word of the first draft of each chapter and helping with so many of the other technical and tedious tasks that are necessary to produce a book.
• Nancy Porter-Steele, who was one of the first people to introduce me to Logosynthesis and has encouraged me in every way and has generously edited this book manuscript as well.
• The members of the Little Logo Book Creation Facebook group who have offered support and feedback from at least eight different countries! I am so grateful to everyone who read and “liked” each chapter as I posted it and especially to those people who offered the useful feedback that helped me refine the language and concepts and reassure me that I was on target.
Special thanks goes to those members of the group who have taken the time to provide detailed and thoughtful feedback during this process: Pamela Burkhalter, Julie Jacinthe Arsenault, Foster Brashear, Trish North, Judy Heiser Warren, Karen Bartholow, Satinder Bhalla, Cathy Schenkels Caswell, and Cheryl Liang.
And special thanks go to my grandson, Ryan Claret, for his clear and thoughtful feedback from a teenager’s perspective.
Finally, thank you for the invaluable advice and support of Judith Briles, Amy Collins and all my friends and colleagues at AuthorU.org throughout every phase of this project.
