Who Taught You Money Was Dangerous?
With today’s rising prices, so many people are worried about not having enough money, that I forget that some people are actually afraid of having too much money. That fear is one of the reasons we wrote EMBRASE PROSPERITY. We noticed professionals who repeatedly sabotaged their own opportunities to grow their practices. I recently spoke with someone who imagined becoming a target of social media hatred or of someone who would stalk her if she allowed herself to let the public know about her talent. All of these often semi-aware reasons for avoiding accumulating too much money certainly block your ability to create abundance in your life. Embrace Prosperity
Your financial life is influenced by a story you probably don’t even know much about.
It’s the story of what your life was going to be like that you created before you were 10 years old. You might have revised the story as a teenager and then forgotten about it, but there are various techniques available to help you rediscover it.
You created your story from many factors that included:
- what your caretakers said and did in your presence
- your understanding of and your reaction to that information
- the social circumstances that surrounded you
- your own age, temperament and resources
- decisions you made about how to respond to all these factors
These decisions may also relate to the times your life energy froze to protect yourself from situations you could not manage with your available resources.
