A more gentle and elegant way to release the energy from this negative reaction is to use the Logosynthesis sentences. Each reaction can lead you to a belief, an image or a repetitive voice that points towards frozen energy.
Your goal is to find the words to fill in the blank in each Logosynthesis sentence with a statement that describes the trigger.
“Yes, but’s” and similar reactions are triggered by images or voices in your personal space.
Use this format: this image of (a memory, fantasy or belief) __________ for your statement. You can also this voice saying_____________ in your statement.
Avoid using emotions such as angry, scared or sad in the sentences. Emotions are reactions to triggering experiences. It’s best to locate the memory, belief or fantasy that occurred just before the sadness emerged and use that in the sentences.
For example, sadness might have been triggered by a memory of a month when you did not have enough money to pay your rent on time. In that case, you might use “This memory of not having the money to pay the rent”
Once you have your statement, use it to complete these sentences.
Before you say the sentences, notice how strongly you react to this memory and rate it from 0-10.
