The purpose of this book is to help you release your own energy that's blocking your experience of abundance, therefore, we’ll offer you exercises. By the time you have finished them, you’ll easily learn those practical aspects of creating wealth, and we will suggest resources to help you do so.
Practicing Abundance
Taking ideas and putting them into action is a challenge for many. It is almost as if there is an energy barrier to be crossed.
First you need to discover your own personal energy barrier. Do this by finding a trigger, an image or a voice that interferes with you doing what you want to do. One way to do this is to sit quietly and think about times that this has happened. Notice any image or voice associated with this memory.
Another way is to notice what you think about when you are considering spending money on a specific item. You may hear a voice from the space around you, scolding you or warning you to be cautious. Or you may create a conversation with an imagined critic while balancing your checkbook or thinking of asking for a raise.
The variety of different voices and images you encounter depends upon your own personal history.
Such an image or a voice is a trigger for distress. It can be neutralized with the help of the Logosynthesis sentences.
Once you have found an image or a voice, repeat the following sentences aloud to help you get past this energy barrier and actually do the suggested activities.
1. I retrieve all my energy bound up in (this image or voice of X) and take it to the right place in my Self.
Breathe and take time to notice any thoughts, feelings, sounds, images and sensations you experience.
2. I remove all non-me energy related to (this image or voice of X) from all of my cells, my body and my personal space and send it to where it truly belongs.
Breathe and take time to notice any thoughts, emotions, sounds, images and sensations you experience.
3. I retrieve my energy bound up in all my reactions to (this image or voice of X) and take it to the right place in my Self.
Breathe and take time to notice any thoughts, feelings, sounds, images and sensations you experience.
Now notice what happened to the image or the voice. How does this free your energy to do what you want or need to do?
If your energy doesn’t feel free yet, repeat the process. What other images or voices are showing up in the space around you? Repeat the three sentences for this new or changed image or voice.
This process can contain a number of steps; take one at a time. Lindsay, who had a secure income, noticed a voice while considering whether to purchase a new winter coat she could easily afford. “What if you don’t earn enough money to pay for this?”
She used “this voice warning me about not earning enough money” in her first set of sentences. During this process she remembered a scene in which father angrily warned her mother not to spend money. She repeated the sentences using “this image of my parents arguing about money” as the trigger blocking her energy. Then she felt complete.
When you are ready to move on, say the fourth Logosynthesis sentence aloud:
4. I tune all of my systems to this new awareness.
