Tis the season to try to do it all... to find the perfect dress, the perfect gift and create the perfect meal.
I did this to myself for years. As I wrote these words, I realized how ridiculous it was to put perfect expectations on anything in a world that is already blooming with opportunity for "perfect moments".

Reflections of Joy
My words weren’t flowing because I was searching for perfection.
Up to this point, I’ve repeatedly told you there is no perfect in this
world- no perfect diet, exercise plan, or prayer routine. Yet, I have been
avoiding my computer because I couldn’t find the perfect words to
wrap this up.
I struggled to finish because I wanted it to be “just right.” To be
perfect, but if it was perfect, it would only work for me.
I realize this small book will likely never reach masterpiece status, so
why not just put my experiences and stories on the page and pray that
my heart’s words will help you somehow? Maybe you’ll laugh. Maybe
you’ll cry. Maybe you’ll eat a few more vegetables or cook a few more
meals at home. Maybe my book will land in the hands of a woman who
is ready to give up, and through my ramblings, she finds hope.
ere are no perfect words, foods, or plans, but there are many
perfect components to put together a life full of health and joy.
