A fiery glint alerted her to a large opal circle on the foam. It looked like a bracelet, with two separate ends and was clearly meant to be a snake with small, intricate engraved scales. Strangely, the head, complete with flared hood and engraved fangs, was placed to look like it had been severed from the snake’s body.
The green gem eyes seemed alive when the light hit them.
She picked it up to search for a catalog number, but there was none.
She logged onto her computer.
There was no record in the collection database that described the bracelet, so it probably wasn’t an artifact.
