Dancing Souls

A calm enveloped Destiny as she finished her session with Ariel. It was if an expanded sense of confidence has become her new normal—something that the chaos of the previous twelve months had zapped. Her spirits were buoyant as she viewed her decision to move to Illinois and a promise to herself of reflection, grounding, and growth. In her mind, she knew that one day she would return to Colorado … the only question was when.

Heading down to the basement, a feeling of dread crept in. Not that the basement was creepy, or that there were bad spirits awaiting her. It was the dreaded overwhelm that flows when there is much to do. Destiny still had packing and sorting of all the raw materials for her Awakening Spirit business that beckoned to her. At times, she was engulfed with the need to get it done, and then became paralyzed with inaction. “I’ll get to this another day,” she muttered out loud. It was the only action she could muster was to turn around and head back upstairs.

As her reputation grew and others sought what Awakening Spirit offered, her sense of overwhelm began to subside. To Destiny’s surprise, and relief, it ended by being quite easy once she gained clarity. It was her friend Sandy that started the unclutter and packing process—she removed the fear that had paralyzed Destiny in moving forward.

Once those decisions were made, the rest of the packing went by quickly. She called Pods and off went the bulk of the raw materials to their new destination. The materials that were finished would be her traveling companions in the car and the movers would bring the rest.

Yes, Destiny was at peace with her forthcoming move. It was a new adventure with no vision toward the outcome. Yet, there was a nag. How could she be so scarred … and so excited? All Destiny knew was that her time there would create a dramatic change that would alter her beyond anything she could imagine.

Destiny didn’t know what the change was.

She grasped it was coming.

She knew it would happen.
