There are zillions of crowdfunding stats. Below are several—Statista and Kickstarter are my resources in 2022 based on the previous year’s data. In turn, they are pulled from the major crowdfunding sites as well. Kickstarter updates it’s site regularly with data—you don’t have to wait until year end to see how groups are doing. Some are general to give you the BIG picture; some are specific to publishing. Most likely, the ones that interest you the most.

It’s essential to remember that crowdfunding success does not occur on a whim. It requires careful planning and strategizing. Your time will be a significant factor to its success. There were over 6 million projects in 2021 … something that is projected double by the time 2023 ends.
