“Well, lookee here. Squaw Girl showed up!” Katie tensed, her face reddening. She turned her back to the voice. “Hey, Squaw Girl, how’s kahhhhledge?”
Robin turned and saw a tall, rough-looking White girl flanked by two others, snickering and pointing at Katie. She balled her fists and moved menacingly in their direction. The girls towered over her 5’5” frame, but Robin’s flashing green eyes forced them back. She growled, “Who the hell do you think you’re talking to, Bitch? Do you have a problem with my friend? Or do you have a problem with education? Or am I missing something?”
The girl stood dumbfounded.
“You deaf?” Robin challenged. Fists on her hips, Robin closed in on the girls. “I asked, what’s your problem, Punks?” The three girls backed slowly away from Robin. “Actually, I have a problem… with YOU!” Robin pointed at the leader. “A lowlife like you can’t talk to your betters like that. Get it? I think an apology is in order, Bitch.” The girls turned and ran.
