“I hope we don’t spend two hours listening to jag talk in Chem today,” Leslie said. “I read the assignment through twice and I’m still not sure I get it. Phelps needs to explain that stuff in class or I’ll be in big trouble.”
“One thing’s for sure,” replied Katie. “We need to study together as much as possible. It helps that we’re good at different subjects. I have to get good grades. My folks worked hard to get me here and I intend to make them proud of me. A good study routine is important.”
“I’ve got to maintain a 2.5 to keep my scholarship,” added Leslie. “I’ve always had to work hard for my grades so I’m on board with a study routine.”
“A college degree is my ticket out,” exclaimed Robin. “Nothing is going to get in the way of good grades for me, even if it means that all I ever get to do is work and study.”
