“I hope the SNA members are as enthusiastic about precepting as you are,” Robin said, skeptically. “Keep in mind there are more junior nursing students than there are SNA seniors. If any of the seniors choose not to participate, the ones who volunteer might have more than they can handle. Remember we all still have classwork and clinicals.”
Leslie responded emphatically. “The students who joined SNA made a commitment to be leaders in the Crestmont nursing community. That means they have to support projects that make the school better. This project needs their support.”
“You’ll have to accept that people aren’t always as willing as you are to participate,” Katie said. “It’s good to expect the best of everyone, but you shouldn’t be surprised if some of our classmates have other priorities.
