“For once you’re going to do what you’ve committed to do. We’re out of everything and it’s your turn to shop. You find time for the things you want to do, and I, for one, think your priorities are monumentally screwed up.”
“I pay for my share,” Leslie insisted. “Why does it matter who picks up the groceries.”
“It matters,” Robin insisted, poking her finger up at Leslie’s face. “I’m not talking about money; I’m talking about your commitment to us. Assuming that we’ll do your share of the work around here any time it’s not convenient for you is totally unacceptable. Lately, it’s been not convenient for you to do anything at all. Frannie shopped for you last time and you promised you would pick up her next turn, but you didn’t do that either. She did the vacuuming yesterday when it was your turn. You didn’t even ask her; you just didn’t do it.”
