“That turkey was the best I’ve ever eaten,” Gram said. “There’s no comparison to one that you buy from the supermarket.”
“Thank you, Maureen. Nearly everything on the table is farm fresh. The bread and pies are homemade and the cranberry sauce recipe has been in our family for generations. Thanksgiving is a day of gratitude for just about everything in our lives. You and I can sit and visit, while the kids enjoy themselves. We can clean up later after everyone has let the meal settle.
