Becky looked up at Amanda as she guzzled her coffee, gulped, and said: “Keep reading.” Becky skimmed through a myriad of molestation allegations and kept perusing:
“Sometime in his mid 30’s Mr. Hunter testified that he became addicted to child pornography, amassing approximately 50,000 images of children, some as young as three-years-old. His addiction became so severe that if he was missing a specific picture from a series, he would scour the internet for hours until he found it. (Id. at 52.)
According to Mr. Hunter, he primarily viewed images of males between the ages of thirteen and twenty, but collected images of children of a variety of ages for the purposes of trading with other collectors. Hunter’s preoccupation with child pornography became very disruptive to the rest of his life. He reported spending between 12-14 hours on the internet and masturbating to child pornography between 2-3 times per day. (Ex. 25 at 9.)”
Becky continued to scan the Conclusions of Law until her eyes focused on “B. Hunter’s Testimony”:
“At trial Hunter testified extensively about his past offending. He also specifically addressed the question of whether he continues to be attracted to children. He stated, ‘Yeah. I would say I still had an attraction. I mean, I don’t know; I’m not around any 13-year-olds now so . . . I mean, I feel like I don’t, but I can’t be honest and say that.
