Nothing Like Naked

Marti headed for the shower letting the hot water erase all the tiredness from the long drive. She pulled on Chuck's apron and began making her surprise. She had picked up fresh Bavarian pretzels at the German bakery and pulled out his tangy mustard to go with them. She placed the German Pilsner in the freezer to chill them. While the pretzels warmed, she braided her hair in pigtails so she looked like an Oktoberfest serving girl. Looking in the mirror she was satisfied with her efforts. Now, she just needed to move everything to the backyard.

Pulling out a couple of blankets, she spread them on the grass and had just placed the food and drinks when she heard his SUV drive up. Taking off the apron, she laid nude on the blanket to complete her surprise. She heard him calling her name as he drifted through the house, and loved the surprised look on his face when he discovered his own nude beer garden in his backyard. In a heartbeat Chuck was pulling off his clothes to join Marti on the grass.

"I absolutely love coming home to you, liebchen," he said kissing her hello.

 Handing him a cold beer, she batted her eyes at him, "Ja, mein lieber."

"Du bist perfekt," he replied.

"Danke," she smiled stroking her hand through his hair. "My Schwatzie, how was your day?"

Leaning back on his elbow, Chuck broke off a piece of pretzel dipping it in the mustard. "I met our new Documentation Specialist. She's retired from Fort Jackson. We knew some of the same people. I think she'll be great."

"I had a good week, too. So, we can just leave it behind for a few minutes and have our private Oktoberfest. I kinda like being a mamsell." She looked down at her pigtails draping them over her shoulders.

"These are good pretzels," Chuck said. "How do you like the mustard?" Dipping the pretzel into the sauce, he brought it to her lips. She bit off a chunk and chewed, "I could almost make this dinner." She took a sip of beer then lay down to look up at the sky. "It feels like a secret garden back here. Maybe we could plant some vines on your fences."
