Nothing Like Naked

"I got a little bit of everything," Chuck said holding the plate out to her. "Ladies first," he smiled taking his seat.

Marti scanned the plate and decided to try Tom’s garlic shrimp. Bringing the toothpick up, she sucked the first bite into her mouth. Chuck took a long draw on his beer as he watched. Damn that looks good. Those lips are made for kissing. He studied the plate to distract himself dipping a carrot stick into the guacamole.

"Mm-m, try the guacamole, it’s got a nice tang to it," Chuck said dipping into it again.

"Thanks, that’s my secret ingredient. I’m glad you like it," she smiled. "You’re very observant. Sure you’re not a reporter, too?"

"No, I guess I learned it flying - gotta watch those gauges all the time."

"Ah-h, I see. I noticed you’re the youngest person I’ve met at Whispering Palms."

Chuck looked at her, "Not quite. You’ll see some families if you take a stroll tonight."

"What attracted you to this place?"

"I had to live in this area. I wanted something private and a buddy recommended this place."

"So, you were willing to be a nudist in order to get what you wanted?"

"Nude, shmude," It don’t matter to me. I’ve seen a little of everything in my travels."

"I think that’s Aunt Shirley’s attitude as well. Good thing you are neighbors."

"Would you like another glass of wine? I see you’ve finished that one. Feeling better?"

Marti felt the warmth on her face, "It’s a nice Chardonnay, not too oaky."

"Ok, one wine and one beer coming up."

Marti turned away so she wouldn’t see his body as he stood. She looked toward the street and saw a half-dressed kid go by on a bicycle. Looks like hometown USA. Standing to get a better look at the neighborhood, she saw a naked older man walking his dog. Well, that’s anti-climactic, she thought giggling to herself.

"Penny for your thoughts," Chuck said handing her a glass of wine.

"Oh, it’s silly. It was just a surprise to see a naked man walking his dog."

Leaning next to her, Chuck glanced out the window, "That’s Walt, he’s a die-hard naturist."
