"I think it’s perfect. You should wear it to the movie today. Chuck won’t take his eyes off you." Clapping her hands lightly, Shirley laughed like a younger woman.
"It might be fun to knock his socks off. Thank you, auntie." She leaned forward and kissed her cheek. "Let’s head back to the resort."
When Chuck knocked on the door at 12:30, Marti opened the door to let him in. He took her in with a glance and smiled like a fox. "You look fantastic. Turn around. Let me see it all."
Marti turned and looked at him over her shoulder, "You like it?"
Chuck didn’t get to finish when Tom walked up to the door. "Hi, guys. Are we ready?"
Shirley entered the room at the sound of his voice. "Let’s go. Bond is waiting."
Walking to the car, Chuck whispered in Marti’s ear, "I like the dress. I keep coming back for one more glance."
"Good, that’s what I was hoping for," Marti smiled ducking her head into the car.
Chuck kept his hand on Marti’s back as they walked into the theater. When they settled into their seats, he draped his arm around the back of her chair. She crossed her legs and turned toward him so their bodies had contact. She could literally feel the energy pulsing between them. It surprised her since she had never felt this kind of attraction before. Maybe it’s heightened because we’re in the dark she thought.
Whispering to each other, Tom and Shirley left them alone in their cocoon. When Bond began making his seductive moves on screen, Marti squirmed imagining Chuck doing that to her.
As they left the theater, Shirley mentioned stopping by the nursery on the way home. "I need to pick up some bird food, and maybe look at some flowers for the backyard."
"Sure, we can wander the grounds," Chuck replied squeezing Marti’s hand." I’ll show you the water garden."
"Just meet us back at the car in twenty minutes," Tom said.
Heading down the nursery path, Chuck and Marti strolled toward the pond. Chuck directed her to a gazebo featuring hanging fuchsia baskets. Once they were inside, he paused close behind her, "I am so attracted to you," he whispered in her ear.
Catching her breath, Marti blushed, "Me, too. I haven’t felt this way in a long time." Pulling her close to feel his heat, Chuck kissed her hair. "Can we spend more time together tonight?"
"I promised girl time with Aunt Shirley. Maybe we could take a walk after she goes to bed." Kissing her neck, Chuck nodded, "I’d like that." Taking her hand, he led her to the garden.
Unloading the car at Shirley’s house, Chuck threw the bag of bird see on his shoulder and stored it on the back patio. Tom waved good-bye as he headed home.
"I think I might like an afternoon nap," Shirley yawned. "Can you young folks entertain yourselves for a while?"
"Auntie, are you sure you’re OK?"
"I’m fine, sweetheart. James Bond just wore me out."
"Why don’t we cook dinner for you? Chuck and I will cook at his house while you rest."
"Now, that sounds like a plan. Take anything you need from the fridge," Shirley waved heading to her bedroom.
The minute they were safe behind Chuck’s door he pulled her in his arms. "You are a clever girl but I’m not sure I can keep my hands off of you in that dress." He kissed her roaming his hands up and down her back. Marti met him thrusting her tongue into his mouth. She held onto to his strength as the sensations washed through her body.
Pushing the straps of her dress off her shoulders, Chuck kissed the dip in her collarbone. He worked his lips up to the soft spot behind her ears then trailed kisses down her neck pulling the stretchy fabric so her breast was exposed. Kissing its top, he cupped both breasts while he laved her nipple with his tongue.
Marti was caught up in his sensual thrall when the telephone rang. "Damn," muttered Chuck.
"No, let’s take a break. Please, answer the call." She adjusted her dress quickly.
Releasing a long breath, Chuck grabbed the phone, "Chuck, here." He listened for a moment then replied, "Sure, I can do that. See you next week."
Turning to Marti, Chuck smiled. "My nephew’s excited about his birthday party."
"Why don’t we check out your fridge so we know what we’re making for dinner?"
"Good idea." Taking her hand, he led her to the kitchen. Opening the door, he bent over to check for vegetables at the bottom. "Let’s see, we have celery, squash and tomatoes." He stood up looking at Marti.
"I’m sorry," she blushed. "I missed that. I was ogling your body."
"Ogle all you want, babe. Part of me wants to pick you up and go roll in the grass. I’m just trying to be a gentleman here."
