If you found a stone whose magic could change your life, how would you use its power?
Michelangelo did his best work in Rome. Some people believe in a magical stone he found on his journey from Florence to Rome, a stone that was said to have the power to release his inner imagination. He returned the stone to the same place he had discovered it, a place steeped in mystery and magic, before returning to Florence.
At the brink of despair, Tom Parker recalls Michelangelo's tale and stumbles upon a stone of similar legend. He yearns to harness its power to resurrect his failing business and win the love of his life. But just as he is about to deliver the speech that could turn his advertising company's fate, the stone is snatched away, and Tom's mind goes blank, forgetting the best presentation he had ever conceived. Will he recover the stone? Will he salvage his business and win the girl?

Drew Bankston lives in the Rocky Mountains with his wife, two amazingly perfect dogs, and a garden.
Before he started writing science fiction, Drew received his bachelor’s degree in Bio-Ag Sciences from Colorado State University. After that, just to shake things up, he never really used that degree but worked various jobs in retail and Asset Protection with some really important people who are way too dignified to be named here. He’s still working but would eventually like to write full-time and stop working for other people. He likes pie and chocolate, as everyone should.

Tom Parker is a kind and generous man. Sometimes too much so. Today he is about to pitch an incredible idea his team has come up with. He has plenty of time to get there. On his way, he sees what appears to be a helpless older woman stranded by the side of the road with a flat tire. She waves him down. He stops and helps her but little does he know there's more to this. Please enjoy this excerpt from my book, "The Imagination Stone," and consider ordering your copy today!

The Imagination Stone
He quickly but carefully replaced the trunk’s contents. The old woman nodded to herself slightly, smiled, and turned away from Tom. She walked to the driver’s side door, opened it, and cautiously made her way into the seat. She looked again at Tom in the sideview mirror, working as fast as he could, sweating and dirty, and occasionally looking at his watch. She glanced at her watch and gave a sigh of satisfaction, a slight chuckle, and a subtle nod of approval.
